Well held in two maidens on the Flat last spring over this trip and 1m4f, has scored over hurdles this season and is fit from that sphere. May offer more now back on the level.

The fact he was gelded and not seen until this age were perceived as negatives before last month's debut at Gowran Park. Struggled over the mile there and hard to be optimistic the extra 2f will bring a dramatic turnaround.

Close third in a Navan maiden over this trip recently on reappearance, that form is decent and with Group 1 entry later in the month, should go very close in this field.

Promising in three maidens last year, he improved to go close in a Navan handicap over this trip 15 days ago on reappearance and is likely to have more to offer, making him a key player here.

Harbour Watch colt has run well in two outings this term, in an AW handicap over this trip at Dundalk and, latterly, over 1m3f on turf at Limerick when not getting much luck in running. Yard going well and is respected.

Time Deet8

Ran well in mile maiden at Gowran Park eight days ago on reappearance, beaten under 2L in fourth. Step up in trip should suit and could be plenty more to come on just third start, with that form now looking strong.

Forecasts

Act Of Valour (15/8), Time Dee (11/4), Buffalo Blues (11/4), Apparition (5/1), On The Go Again (20/1), Templemary Boy (80/1)

Verdict

An open maiden, Act Of Valour improved on his reappearance and should be capable of going close as he looks to justify some lofty entries ahead. Apparition also showed he has plenty potential when going close in a Navan handicap on first outing of the new term. Buffalo Blues didn't enjoy much luck at Limerick last time and is very much respected but this could go to TIME DEE, who ran a good race from off the pace at Gowran Park on just his second start, and first of this season, eight days ago. The runner-up there has since bolted up at Cork on Saturday and this extra distance looks suitable.
  1. Time Dee
  2. Act Of Valour
  3. Apparition
