Capable sprinter whose efforts last season included a third in the Bronze Cup at Ayr in September. His ninth of 21 at Doncaster on his reappearance will have blown away the cobwebs and he is 5lb lower than when producing that fine run at Ayr. Sound each-way chance.
In fine form since joining his current trainer this season, winning two of his four starts and building a progressive profile. Up another 6lb since his second at Thirsk last time and the handicapper will catch up with him at some stage, but he is in such good form that he has to be considered.
Has not won since landing a 7f handicap at Musselburgh last July, but has dropped to a workable mark and cheekpieces are back on. Not one of the more obvious ones, but can't be dismissed either.
Well beaten in three starts for his new, respected yard, and his trainer reaches for the cheekpieces in a bid to rekindle the fire. C&D maiden winner last July so enters calculations off his falling handicap mark.
Fairly consistent last season, including one win at Carlisle over 7f. His three wins have come over that distance so the shorter trip here is unlikely to be in his favour.
C&D winner in August, but not so good on heavy ground on his return to the same track the following month. Has not been seen since and may need this outing after such a long lay-off, but there is no obvious rival for the lead should his rider choose to employ frontrunning tactics which have been successful for him.
Enjoyed a decent 3yo campaign, winning over this trip at Carlisle and Ripon. Ran as though the outing was needed on his return at Redcar and better expected off 2lb lower, with improved fitness and first-time blinkers.

Zylan (15/8), Portland Street (7/2), Khelman (7/2), Tommy G (9/2), Buccaneers Vault (6/1), Maureb (9/1), Foresight (16/1), Picks Pinta (25/1)
Zylan is still firmly in the mix despite his rising handicap mark, while Tommy G has time on his side and shaped well on his return. However, a chance is taken with FORESIGHT, who has C&D form, looks well handicapped and sports cheekpieces for the first time. Top weight Khelman can also figure prominently, while Portland Street is respected in first-time blinkers.
