0-10 over hurdles so far. Won a 1m4f Flat handicap from a mark of 75 (good to firm) at Haydock in August but comfortably held again over hurdles last time and now tried over this longer trip. Has a bit to prove.
Dropped 3lb since her latest run at Fontwell, when she was always towards the rear and never threatened. Market is likely to give a clue as to whether she is likely to do better over this longer trip or whether she will need to drop a few pounds more.
Did better when stepped up to a similar trip at Southwell last time out (soft) and dam is a half-sister to a staying hurdle/chase winner, so this trip is beginning to look ideal. If he can improve for some better ground then he looks capable of making an impression.
Not yet revealed ability in a trip of novices' and maiden hurdles, but how tries handicapping. Assessor appears to be asking a fair bit of him, but the market should be our best guide as to expectations.
Has had four runs in quick succession in novices' company and put in his best effort at Sedgefield last time. His page has him related to winners from 2m-2m4f, so has a bit to prove over this far on his handicap debut. Market check advised.
Won a point-to-point at the fifth attempt and ran well on his debut under rules in a Bangor bumper in January. Has shown steady improvement in three hurdles starts and begins handicapping from a fair mark and now tongue tied. Perhaps best watched on this occasion.
Made the frame in a modest Taunton novices' handicap hurdle in January and also prior to that in a maiden hurdle over 2m4f (good) here. This is weaker than the race she contested at Kempton last time and with a 2lb drop she becomes more interesting. Could get competitive gain.
Irish point-to-point winner (2m4f) and placed in both a bumper and a novices' hurdle since joining current yard. Drop of 2lb since last run and now stepped up in trip, but pedigree suggests that she still has to prove herself over this far.
Had been gradually building towards his Warwick win (2m3f, good to soft) last time. Stayed on well there, so this extra half mile should stand him in good stead where finding improvement is concerned. Handicapper has not put him up for that success and has obvious claims.
Well beaten in four starts under rules before a wide margin point-to-point win (good) in March. Placed in that sphere last time and now changed yards again and goes handicapping from a very workable mark. With trip likely to suit him and an interesting pilot booked, he could now do much better back under rules.
1-34, with that success being here in a 2m chase (good) in September. Is 5lb higher than that and back over hurdles after failing to complete last twice. Others make more appeal.
Yet to make the frame in 10 starts and has been offering no encouragement to offer him financial support. Impossible to recommend at present.

Forecasts
Icanmotor (7/4), Market Road (2/1), Sackett (11/4), Terry The Fish (4/1), Tricky Silence (12/1), Zamoyski (14/1), Betterlatethanneva (14/1), Cottonwool Baby (18/1), Beautiful People (20/1), Gwili Spar (20/1), Clondaw Rigger (25/1), Crocodile Dancer (25/1), Annie'sboydave (50/1)
Cottonwool Baby and Crocodile Dancer are runners to check out in the market ahead of this division, while it would be churlish to begrudge Icanmotor a win after so many tries, but she is obviously vulnerable. Beautiful People should take closer order today, but both Sackett and MARKET ROAD are most interesting and the latter gets the vote.
- Market Road
- Icanmotor
- Sackett
