6f good to firm ground winner in an Ascot maiden last year beating the high class Rivet in the process but proven more than a shade disappointing since then having beaten beaten at odds on two starts back and just a third of seven, 15/8 favourite last time. Hard to trust in current mood but possible the drop back in trip and a return to fast ground may do the trick.

Easy winner of a weak looking Wolverhampton maiden last time after showing some promise in a Leicester on seasonal reappearance. Handicapper appears to have taken a very high opinion of that effort and he will need to improve markedly if he's to defy a stiff opening mark.

Won a Class 2 conditions race at Salisbury last year in soft ground but struggled on both starts this season dropped to the minimum trip. Step back up to 6f looks more like it but more exposed than most in here.

Won at Ayr on second start last year and ran well when finishing second at the Derby meeting at Epsom. Struggling when taking a stumble at York on final start of 2016 and not seen since. Booking of this jockey looks a positive on return to action and he looked progressive last year but he's not always the cleanest away from the stalls and possibly best watched this time around.

Overcame greenness to score on debut at Yarmouth on good to firm ground but never got involved here in a Group 2 on second start. Will have learned plenty from that and trainer is in flying form currently. He also has a good record with horses returning from a break so market can guide on return to action with Moore booked.

Confirmed the promise of his second start when winning a hot looking Doncaster maiden at the end of last season. Won comfortably on return to action this season with an easy C&D win and his rise in the weights looks fair. Bearing in mind he could come on for that effort and the runner-up from the race has come out and won with a little in hand since, he looks the one to beat.

Didn't need to improve to win a Newcastle maiden at a very short price in October after knocking on the door on his three previous starts. Not discgraced over the mile at Musselburgh on comeback run and drop back in trip could see him produce a career best. He will have to though if he's to score in this contest and Dettori prefers Mostahel.

Fair effort in defeat last time at Sandown and shaped like she'd want this step up in trip when keeping on having been headed in the final stages. The winner from that race could be a smart sort so there could well be scope off this mark and she could be hard to peg back.

Progressive last season, winning a valuable York handicap before going on to finish third of 20 in the Listed two-year-old trophy race at Redcar. Interesting to see what the market makes of her on return and she warrants plenty of respect with further progress likely this year.
