First run for this yard after leaving Andre Fabre but struggled at Group level when trained in France. Holds an Ascot Gold Cup entry and probably wants further than this trip so looks opposable this time around.

Made a mockery of his handicap mark on his GB debut when running out an easy winner at Leicester. Took advantage of another lenient mark given to him by the assessor at Epsom last time, scoring by 4½L and duly moves up to Group company. Needs to take another step forward and may not get an easy lead with Pinzolo in the line up but should give another good account.

Not disgraced when finishing sixth of 16 in the Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe when 100/1 last year and went on to justify odds-on favouritism in a Group 2 at Chantilly next time. Finished his season off in Hong Kong with a fine third placed effort in a Group 1 at Sha Tin and may come on for his recent comeback effort. Any rain would likely be a bonus and jockey rides this course well, plenty to like provided he's none the worse for the trip over.

Very good when allowed an easy lead on the front end, as proven on the AW this year. Has won twice around here but will need a career best by some distance to win this.

Fine winner of the Yorkshire Oaks last season and while things didn't quite go her way towards the end of last season (unplaced on Champions Day and at Breeders' Cup) her comeback effort was highly encouraging in the Sheema Classic on Dubai World Cup night. That piece of form stands out, there could still be more to come this year and it could be significant that her trainer is willing to run her against the opposite sex this early in the season.

Verdict

SEVENTH HEAVEN may have been a little unlucky not to finish closer to a rejuvenated Jack Hobbs in the Sheema Classic on Dubai World Cup night when caught too far back, but that run was full of promise and she should keep on progressing this year for a trainer who does well fillies. Galapiat has been a revelation since joining this yard and he should make a bold bid from the front while One Foot In Heaven is proven at Group level and could strip fitter for his recent effort at Chantilly. Across The Stars is far from reliable but would have claims on the very best of his form.

  3. Galapiat
