Successful from a 3lb lower mark at Kelso in May 2016 (2m1f good to firm) when beating Duhallowcountry by 8L, but beaten in five subsequent starts from higher marks including over C&D in September 2016. Off for seven months, but needs decent ground to be seen at his best.
Likes to race prominently and did so when failing to get home up the Kelso run in last month when collared by Whitsundays. A marginal drop in trip will help this former Musselburgh winner, and he's already a runner up over 2m at this track in October 2016.
No faulting his application when a 3½L runner up to Miss Conway over 2m here last month. Ran as if crying out for a step up to this trip, and seems more reliable these days with his previous March Musselburgh victory (2m4f) franked since by Treat Yourself. Obvious chance despite a 2lb rise.
Winner of an extended 3m handicap hurdle at Aintree off this mark last June, but in poor shape during 2017, both on the Flat and over hurdles. Well beaten at Wetherby last month and needs to show more now dropped in trip and switched to fences.
Mistakes a feature of both of her previous starts over fences in December 2016, but this two time hurdles winner for Nicky Henderson returns a fresh horse, and with her trainer in form, a better showing is feasibly on the cards.
Ten race maiden but was travelling well enough when falling at the 13th here in a 3m handicap chase won by Apache Pilot last month. Unconvincing profile overall, but might well pop up in a low grade handicap at some point.
Longstanding maiden and hasn't really shaped like threatening to break that status in seven starts in England. Like Medal of Freedom, wasn't totally out of contention when falling here last month.
Former Point-to-Point racer who won the Buccleuch Cup at Kelso in 2013, and that represents his sole rules success to date. Returned from six months off with a fair effort at Kelso last month (third to Whitsundays and John Williams) but meets the Sandy Thomson trained rival again seeking a reversal in placings.
Tongue tie applied to cheek-pieces for the first time for this nine race fences maiden. Pulled up on his last two outings, he could be fitter than for his latest start (six months off), but others hold stronger claims.
Always in the rear when last of five to Aly's Rock at Sedgefield last month (2m), and a drop of 5lb isn't enough to tempt despite this race being just this mares second ever start over fences.
All three chase starts have been underwhelming, and has much work to do to reverse placings with John Williams and Moscow Menace on last month's Kelso clash.

Plenty of horses with unappealing profiles in this low grade contest, so the race is best left to PEKANHEIM. He looks more reliable these days, and his March Musselburgh success now reads much better form than it did at the time. He was noted making good late progress here over a shorter trip last month, and appears to be crying out for a return to this 2m4f trip.
