Verdict

Zabalan perhaps found the mile was a bit sharper than desired at Dundalk last month on his return to action, letting favourite backers down as he did. He remains open to doing much better and will in all likelihood find this trip much more suitable. He faces an equally promising rival in the returning SANDSTORMING however. He ran a fine race over a longer trip at the Curragh when last spotted and can go one better on his third racecourse outing. The others face a tough task with newcomer Courtois perhaps next best ahead of Constancio.
