Verdict

A wide open contest to get proceedings underway in Mallow, there are plenty with chances. Peticoatgovernment was a game scorer last time out and her connections are in super form but these terms demand plenty more. Oneoveryou is in good heart but has done all her winning over 5f and may again struggle over this trip, handicap debutant Waitaki has been given a chance but has let supporters down in the past and so it falls to HUNAINA to potentially collect the spoils. The Aga Khan filly was desperately unlucky in maidens last year before belatedly scoring on the AW, she may have needed the recent run at Navan but ran well enough to suggest she can improve and score here from a 5lb lesser mark. Last time out improver Ken's Sam's isn't out of this if that was a sign of a corner being turned.
