Fast ground would be a worry here for this one who has run over hurdles for this yard but offered some encouragement when back on the Flat for his latest start. Not as good as he was when landing an Epsom handicap (off this mark) last year and lost his way after that.
Has been seen to good effect in the past when fresh and his mark has slipped 3lb below his last winning one. Hardly a prolific winner these days but hard to discount with conditions in his favour.
One of two in this race for the yard although judged on the jockey bookings he looks the second string. Winner of three races last year including one over C&D but hasn't really fired so far this year.
In excellent form on the Tapeta at Newcastle over the winter rattling up four wins on the bounce off a rapidly increasing mark (started from a low base). Has found winning hard since his mark popped over 70 but looks more reliable than most in this field.
Never got his head in front when trained by Ger Lyons in Ireland (0/11) and hardly looked to have improved when running for this yard for the first time at Doncaster.
Forecasts
Go George Go (2/1), Green Light (5/2), Corton Lad (11/4), Falcon's Fire (11/2), Fisherman's Blues (25/1)
Green Light has the firm in the book to win this and he does look to be on the way back after his reasonable effort at Thirsk last time out. Of the Dalgleish pair it would be Corton Lad who is preferred with conditions in his favour but overall this looks to be a good chance for GO GEORGE GO to get back to winning form after a good winter on the AW.
