15-race maiden who finds little under pressure. Yard are 6-16 with their chasers here and he is likely to be thereabouts. Chances of winning depend on how hard he has to work for it.

Last run in a handicap was three years ago when he was well beaten off 1lb higher. Placed in a couple of poor hunter chases this spring and appears to have plenty to do.

Three of his four victories have come at Plumpton. Ran well here off a 5lb higher mark last August but form has been patchy since. Beaten when odds-on favourite in a two runner affair last time. Jumping lacks fluency and he may again find something to beat him.

Winner of a point-to-point a year ago and was having his first run since when runner-up at Plumpton from a mark 7lb out of the handicap. Jumped to the right that day whilst making the running. The form looks suspect and this will be tougher.

Beat the only other finisher when scoring at Plumpton six weeks ago. His task was made easier when his most dangerous challenger came down two out. Clipped heels at a crucial point when making headway last time and seeks compensation for a yard who are going well.

Winner of four point-to-points and still seeking first win under rules after 25 attempts. Flattered by her proximity to the winner at Ffos Las a month ago and prone to making errors.

Career best effort came on similar going and has mainly raced on much softer ground since without distinction. Would be on a good mark if running to his best but there have been signs of temperament of late.

Forecasts

Celtic Tune (9/4), Thepartysover (5/2), Itoldyou (7/2), Bennys Girl (11/2), Blinding Lights (13/2), Flugzeug (8/1), Lord Aldervale (12/1), Bahumbug (16/1)

Verdict

Itoldyou is overdue a win and will run his usual honest race but may find the concession of 24lb to THEPARTYSOVER beyond him. Paul Henderson's horses have been in good form lately and the veteran was a wide margin winner of a hurdle at Plumpton which admittedly fell apart. However, he always looked the likely winner that day and he was travelling well when clipping heels here last time. These extreme trips have produced an improvement in form and he is taken to win what is a weak contest. Celtic Tune will have his supporters but he does not look one to trust, whilst Bennys Girl has claims if jumping better than has been the case lately.
