Has lost his way since an abortive brief career over fences. Has been poor on his last two starts and a tongue-tie is now fitted. Respected for top yard but appears one to have reservations about.

Ran well at Stratford following a winter break before finding the company too hot in a valuable race at Haydock next time. Up in trip here but having won over 2m1f at Exeter that should not be a problem. Stable 4-11 in past fortnight and 10-34 with runners here. Looks the one to beat.

Winner of a weak bumper two years ago. Has faced some stiff tasks over hurdles but starts his handicapping career off a mark which looks generous having had better horses than this behind him in 2015. Off the course for a year after failing over fences last time. Might be worth a check for positive signs in the market.

Forecasts

Brotherly Company (8/11), Work In Progress (11/8), King Cool (5/1), Be Daring (13/2), Morthanalegend (18/1)

Verdict

King Cool and BROTHERLY COMPANY look the two most likely to fight this one out judged on recent efforts. The former ran well here when heavily supported in March. If running to that same level he would have an obvious chance for a yard that are in form and who regularly have winners here. BROTHERLY COMPANY represents a yard that continue in excellent form and who possess an impressive strike rate at the track. Harry Fry's charge was highly tried last time but has a more obvious chance judged by his Stratford second in what was a stronger race than this. Work In Progress has lost his way of late but if the tongue-tie has the desired effect he would rate a danger.
  1. Brotherly Company
  2. King Cool
  3. Work In Progress
