Paul Cole's charge broke his maiden on handicap debut on Kempton's AW surface a month ago and is taken to get the better of the impressive Salisbury maiden winner War Chief. Of the others in this contest Habbad is another to have won on the AW last time out while Quandary Peak was contesting much better races than this when last seen in action in France last summer.
