A winner on four of his last five starts, this fast improving type kept on strongly to land a Taunton maiden hunters chase (2m7f) early last month for this talented rider. Despite having a few questions to answer over this sharper trip, the forecast ground conditions will suit.
An eleven race maiden who was well held by a stablemate of Knocklong when fourth on his most recent outing at Tranwell last month, it would certainly be a major surprise if he broke his duck tonight.
2m Ludlow handicap hurdle winner from a mark of 94 in October 2014 for Dan Skelton, but yet to threaten in Point-to-Points since returning from an extended absence in May 2016. Well beaten when falling at the last in a match at Revesby Park latest.
Has failed to complete in five of his eight starts in Point-to-Points having looked devoid of ability for Micky Hammond under rules. Well beaten over 3m at Easingwold (fifth) on his most recent start.
17 race rules maiden, but twice a winner from 21 starts in Point-to-Points, this veteran has been readily beaten in two starts since returning to action this spring, including when pulled up behind Klepht at Tranwell in early April.
Raced under rules without success for Rose Dobbin between 2011 and the early part of 2014, but has won four times on the Northern Point-to-Point circuit for this trainer (Tranwell, Corbridge, Mosshouses and Friars Haugh). Quiet in three starts this campaign and beaten in a match by Always Tipsy at Friars Haugh last month.
Maiden in Ireland for Andrew Lynch, but moved to this trainer not too long after winning for Nick Pearce at Charing in March 2016. Regularly placed and twice a winner during March 2017 (at Higham and Ampton). Off the boil a shade recently, but likes to race prominently and handles fast ground.
Didn't race for David Thompson after switching from Colin Bowe in Ireland, and in truth has shown little in four starts in Point-to-Points for this trainer. Races prominently but doesn't see out her races, so this drop in trip and the application of the tongue tie could benefit.
A two time winner at Tyrella in the early part of 2013 for Ian Ferguson in Ireland, she's shown little in four starts for this yard since returning from a four year absence in March 2017. Weakened quickly when last of three finishers at Hackwood Park (3m firm) on Easter Monday.
16 race maiden (0 from 4 rules; 0 from 12 in Point-to-Points). Has shown her best form at Tranwell in Northumberland, twice finishing a runner up at that track, including over 2m4f (good) last month.

A race which revolves around the pair of recent rules winners KNOCKLONG and Mr Raj. Both horses are on a upward curve, but it's impossible not to be impressed with the statistics being churned out by Justin Landy lately. His Ardea was a recent winner at Hexham (under Joe Wright), and in truth, being a winner of nine of his last ten races (should've been ten), Knocklong deserves to be giving weight to all of his rivals tonight.
