A lightly-raced maiden on the Flat, he ran well enough off this mark in a 16-runner Limerick handicap over 1m3f last time to merit serious consideration for this drop in trip (behind Mystery Gal).
Now an 11-race maiden, tends to lack a bit of speed at crucial times so this step up in distance is viewed as a positive move. Not disgraced over 7f at Cork on reappearance, could have more to give.
Has been running with credit on the AW at Dundalk, but it is a long time since he won on turf and doesn't appear to be the most straightforward ride. Has the ability for this.
Remains a maiden after 21 starts over jumps and on Flat, was pulled up at Gowran Park in January over hurdles when last seen though previous Flat run at that track in August saw him finishing third over this trip and, from 4lb lower, isn't ruled out of this.
Hasn't won since 2014 and badly out of from when most recently spotted in December over hurdles, last year's Flat form in three runs also leaves him with much to ponder.
Remains a maiden after 13 attempts but two most recent outings have offered some hope. Beaten just 1L over 1m3f at Limerick 12 days ago off this mark (Nulife just behind), she'll have her chance today if repeating the effort.
Last of 16 at Limerick over 1m3f recently (Mystery Gal third) and is up against it now to turn around form with that rival and Nulife, who finished fourth.
Gelding has clearly had his troubles and failed to land any kind of blow last month in two runs at Dundalk having returned from 670 days on the sidelines. Prospects in this do not appeal.
Made it 17 runs without a win on recent reappearance at Cork over 7f, though wasn't disgraced there (beaten 4L) and this extra distance should be viewed as a positive.

MYSTERY GAL and Nulife were not far away last month at Limerick and should be able to challenge here over this shorter trip. The former was in the firing line a good way from home and stuck to her task impressively, while never able to get in front. That was her second promising effort on the bounce and she has a good opportunity to grab her breakthrough success in this. Nulife stayed on from what wasn't a great position and clearly has claims on the same terms here. Easy Boy is a quirky sort but has been showing up well at Dundalk and might throw down a bid here with Smullen to aid him again (partnership is 0/3). Dual performer Belclare Boy is appealingly weighed if able to reproduce his previous Flat effort now switched back from the jumps.
