Has mixed it under both codes since arriving at his current yard after a spell with Donald McCain (had previously raced in Germany). Arguably better on the Flat, he won over an extended mile at Nottingham last October but has been held from his current mark in two subsequent starts. That said, he doesn't have too much to find in this company but may be vulnerable to a strong finisher on this stamina-sapping ocurse.
Handed a stiff mark after winning on the AW last March but really struggled to live up to the assessment. Now being cut some slack and posted a decent effort at Nottingham latest (his second outing after a gelding operation), so may be capable of holding his own if the hood and tongue-tie have the desired affect.
Won off a 3lb lower mark at Chelmsford last December but has been below par in a couple of starts since then. Possible that he may be better on the AW surfaces these days and not one to trust implicitly under today's conditions.
Acts on a stiff track and is a likely candidate to be up there making the running. Well drawn and cannot confidently be ruled out despite being 1lb higher than for his last win.
Racked up three quick wins on the AW and went up 19lb in the ratings as a result. A tad disappointing last time out, so has been given a chance from a 3lb lower mark. But his turf form is nothing special (currently 0-11) and others may adapt a little better to the conditions.
Best effort to date came in a 5f maiden at this course but has struggled since upped in trip and form tailed off towards the end of last year. Hard to fancy on his first start since last November.
Won the 2015 renewal of this race and is potentially well placed for a repeat bid from an 8lb lower mark. Finished just ahead of Stanley over C&D last time out and should be capable of upholding the form on these terms. An interesting one to consider.
Mainly campaigned at 7f but does get a mile at a push. Almost a year since she recorded her solitary win and, given that she usually needs a couple of runs to get competitive, she may just need this after being absent since last September.
Back on the score sheet in February after a two year absence but his form has taken a dive since then. Opposable under these terms even though his rider eases the burden with a 7lb claim.

Things seem to have fallen into place for TRINITY STAR in his bid to add to tally at one of his favourite courses (won here twice, including the 2015 renewal of this race and has been placed on three other separate occasions). Notable that he is 8lb below his last winning mark and, with the ground expected to suit, a bold effort is expected. Stanley doesn't have too much to find with the selection and heads the challenge posed by the rest, while Gambit is also well treated just now is worth a look in the betting. Tellovoi is another with claims on the pick of his form but can be unreliable, so Ravenhoe may be the best of the rest.
