Winner of ten of his 59 career starts including one success over 6f here in the past. Wore first time blinkers when winning on good ground over 1m at York off a mark of 95 last October. Ran well off a 1lb higher mark at Newmarket last month and likely to run well again here.
Well beaten when finishing last of 13 over 1m at Newmarket (good-to-firm) last month. Entitled to come on for that run and races off a mark just 1lb higher than when successful over this distance at Sandown last July.
Successful three times in eight races so far but lightly raced in recent seasons. Having his first run since being gelded when a ½L runner-up over 1m2f on good-to-firm ground here in August and makes his debut for a new yard on his first run since here.
Failed to score last season but ran well at Ascot on good ground over 7f when last seen in action back in September. Moved yards since then and previous form suggests he's better over shorter than today's trip.
Winner first time out at Haydock in June 2014 and had just three starts in 2015. Best effort last season came when placed off a 1lb higher mark at Newmarket (good-to-firm) over 1m and an interesting runner on his debut for a new yard here.
Successful three times on turf last year including over an extended 1m on good-to-firm ground here in Windsor. Disappointed off this 5lb higher mark at Newmarket subsequently but has a top jockey booked to ride in this.
Best effort in four outings for this yard came when 1L fourth at Kempton on the AW in March. Well beaten on his return to turf over 1m on firm ground at Bath last month and probably best watched in this.
Successful four times so far including at this track in April last year. Latest victory came off a 1lb lower mark on good-to-soft ground at Chepstow back in August and form suggests he'd appreciate softer ground than is predicted for this.
Winner in Italy in 2015 and also beaten 3¾L in a Group 3 contest there at three. Disappointing in the main since including on debut for this yard when beaten 10L in first time cheekpieces over 1m at Bath (firm) last month.

With a number of horses in this contest likely to want to race prominently it may be worthwhile siding with last seasons course winner WIND IN MY SAILS. The selection has won over further and is regularly ridden from off the pace. Pactolus has won in cheekpieces in the past and has them reapplied for the first time since finishing fourth at Chelmsford in December and he is taken to finish second ahead of the top weight Highland Colori who stepped up on his seasonal debut in finishing fourth in a Class 2 at Newmarket off a 1lb higher mark last time.
