Has won over C&D but off a 10lb lower mark and looks to face a very stiff test on these terms; despite finishing to good effect at Redcar earlier this month.
Last win came for Andrew Balding in 2013 and a touch hit and miss since then. Dropped to a handy mark but needs disprove the theory that he is simply on the downgrade these days.
Wins in his turn and considering that he's won from a 4lb higher mark in the past, he would be dangerous to dismiss. Well drawn today, so is an interesting an option for anyone looking to cover a few corners with an each-way punt.
A regular in this type of race and has snippets of form that bring him into the thick of the argument. On the flip side, he can also be unpredictable and wouldn't be one for maximum faith in spite of currently being 10lb lower than his last winning mark.
Not seen out since finishing a well held fourth behind Naggers at Ayr last November; 5lb better off this afternoon and goes well when fresh, so no forlorn hope of reversing the form now he is back on a winning mark.
Capable on his day and is just 1lb higher than his last winning mark. Usually needs at least a run to put him straight though.
Clobbered with a 10lb hike after winning at Ayr last summer and struggled to make an impact when switching yards shortly afterwards. Likely to have been freshened up by her winter break but others appear to hold more solid claims.
Won his solitary start over C&D and is open to plenty of improvement. Obviously a concern that he's had such a light career so far. The betting may the best gauge towards expectations held from his belated return to action.
Won over 5f at this course last season and respected on that effort. More to do this time but any softening of the ground would be a bonus. Debuts for a new yard today.
Best to forget his latest effort when he unseated the rider at Musselburgh and concentrate on the previous form line with Naggers and Dandyleekie; potentially well handicapped in comparison but still has to fully prove his fitness on the racecourse.

Forecasts
Grandad's World (2/1), Naggers (9/2), Dandyleekie (13/2), Zanetto (8/1), Pomme De Terre (8/1), Cosmic Chatter (8/1), Oh James (8/1), Duke Cosimo (9/1), Money Team (10/1), Kalk Bay (12/1), Casterbridge (16/1), Market Choice (16/1), Rose Marmara (22/1)
The improving NAGGERS stands out on bits and pieces of form and gets the nod to take a further step towards bigger things. There are dangers aplenty though and the likes of Dandyleekie, Money Team and Pomme De Terre all have a feasible chance of overhauling the selection, and are respected accordingly. Support for Kalk Bay would also be dangerous to ignore.
