Won last year's Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester, which was the third good run in as many starts at the time. However, found out when more highly tried thereafter and has since left Hugo Palmer and been gelded before this first run for new yard. Probably one to watch unless there is significant market support.
Scored twice last year over the minimum trip when there was some cut in the ground. 1lb higher today than when beaten narrowly at Wolverhampton in October and after a recent pipe-opener she could make an impact today.
Has won twice over 6f at Lingfield this year, the latter in a handicap from just 2lb lower. Found no extra close home from this mark at Thirsk last time, but may still have needed that second outing after a break and not ruled out in this with first-time hood a potential positive.
Didn't beat a huge amount when landing a Catterick maiden in October over this trip and makes his handicap debut today from a fair mark. Likely to have to improve on that success though if he is to cut it here and interesting to see what the market says of his chance.
Gelded last season after a string of defeats and came good first time out this year at Wolverhampton in maiden company. Could have done with a better break here on handicap debut last time over 6f and could do better now dropped back to this trip and with less traffic to contend with.
Won an auction maiden at Musselburgh in August and while she has not won in four handicaps, you couldn't be dogmatic about her being fully exposed. May have more to come, though could have to wait for another day to get her nose in front.
Forecasts
Logi (11/4), Coolfitch (3/1), Jack Flash (10/3), Wadood (5/1), Yorkshiredebut (6/1), Copper Knight (14/1)
Copper Knight was the class act among these as a juvenile and may need this, but if she is supported on debut for her new yard it will probably be significant. Coolfitch should improve for her reappearance run, while Logi looks like being a leading player. Preference, however, is for JACK FLASH, who should now be cherry ripe and looks capable of winning over this trip if the first-time hood works positively.
- Jack Flash
- Logi
- Coolfitch
