Ran well on second start for this yard at Leicester but has struggled in two starts since and he's been inconsistent throughout his career. Not one to get carried away with but it would be no surprise to see him bounce back.
Shot up the ratings last year after progressing through the handicap ranks and nearly scored last week, when he bounced back after some below par efforts. Due to go up 5lb in future races and will be hard to beat if he returns in the same form.
Useful on the Flat for Hugo Palmer but he's been very disappointing over hurdles to date. Likely to do better with time and looks very well-handicapped if he can transfer the best of his Flat form to this sphere so not ruled out.
Still a maiden after 24 starts under rules and not placed for over three years. Pulled up last time and needs relief from the handicapper.
Winner over hurdles in Ireland and gradually improving since he's joined his stable. Turned in his best effort since his win (and for this yard) when third at Fontwell Park last time out off a 3lb lower mark although he did show the odd quirk under pressure and may not be totally one to trust.
Very disappointing in six starts over the last 12 months and finished pulled-up last time. Has scored from a 4lb higher mark prior to those efforts in soft ground but he no doubt needs to bounce back.
Showed determination to win a lady riders event over 2m here last month, but struggles for consistency and that's been borne out by two subsequent disappointing efforts. Clearly effective around here with two of his three wins coming at the course and on a fair mark if he's in the right mood.
Not won or as much as placed since 2014 when trained in Ireland and appears to have completely lost his way since. Either failed to finish or finished tailed off on each of his last six starts and hard to fancy.
Not seen since 2015 but handicapper has given him a chance by dropping him below his last winning rating. Percentage call says he will need this run though and best watched on return.
Unplaced and well beaten on all seven starts under rules and only minor promise in point-to-points prior to that. Needs to show more ability before he's considered.
Forecasts
Not Never (6/4), Intifadah (10/3), Bulletproof (5/1), Gin And Tonic (10/1), Tiradia (16/1), It's All An Act (16/1), Bay Fortuna (20/1), Trapper Peak (25/1), Star Of Namibia (25/1), Silent Man (33/1)
BULLETPROOF was a little unlucky not to win last time out and he's well in on official ratings so he should go close if he returns in the same mood. Not Never appears to have been given a real chance by the assessor on handicap debut and he should go well if he can translate all his ability from the Flat to this sphere. Tiradia has course form in the book and shouldn't be ruled out off a fair mark.
