Came good at the fifth attempt when landing a 2m Hereford maiden hurdle last month. Concedes weight all around as a result of a penalty for that. The forecast quicker ground might help with that and he is short-list material.

Was in the process of running a nice enough race when falling on his point-to-point debut last year. Hood was applied for his rules debut when a 5L runner-up here last month. Should be able to step up on that and, if so, then he can get competitive.

Point-to-point winner who made the frame a couple of times under rules in 2015, before spending 18 months off until a recent return at Huntingdon when he fell early on. A clear round would be a good starting point.

Runner-up in three point-to-points and made a pleasing debut over hurdles at Newton Abbot in October. Couldn't follow that up with improvement at Ludlow next time and now returns from a break, with better ground a positive. Market check advised but likely to be a leading player.

Did better in Irish bumpers than has so far been the case over hurdles since joining this yard. Fell when well beaten last time and looks in need of an assessment from the handicapper to enable him to try that sphere.

Irish point-to-point winner in February and changed hands since for £5,500. Related to several winners in hurdles over trips from 2m-2m2f. First start for new yard, though may be one to watch on this occasion.

Improved for his debut to finish fourth in another bumper at Worcester last summer. Hurdles debut today and is related to several bumper/hurdle/chase winners. Pedigree suggests that further than this would be ideal so he is another who may be best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.

Won a point-to-point on his sole start in that sphere and has put in two decent efforts to make the frame in similar races to this. Returns from a break and clearly goes well when fresh, so today could be the day when he puts his experience to good use with success.
