A useful type for a race of this nature and makes plenty of appeal on the pick of his form. Closely matched with Vatican Hill; but recent form suggests he is the more reliable of the pair. First time headgear may be significant in keeping him focused and has a big chance in a modest event.
Made a good start for his current yard when winning over C&D last December but has been struggling in handicaps of late. Something to prove after being eased at Wolverhampton last time out (well behind Sans Souci Bay) but the return to Lingfield aids his cause.
Won a handicap over C&D last summer from a mark of just 50 but has failed to deliver a repeat dose on numerous occasions since then. Recent form has been poor and hard to see her coping on unfavourable terms.
Still a maiden after 16 previous attempts; even the drop into selling grade has failed to stop the rot of late. Hard to fancy on her first visit to this particular course.

The first-time headgear may be a big help in SANS SOUCI BAY's bid to uphold recent form with Vatican Hill, who is the obvious threat but has been out of sorts in recent times. It's hard to see Madam Prancealot overturning the principles on this these terms but she makes a touch more appeal than Lady Volante, who is a long-standing maiden with very limited scope for improvement.
