Showed improvement run-by-run last year saving her best performance for last with a good third (helped a little by a favourable draw) in a big-field nursery at Newmarket. Sort who should pick up races this year especially coming from this yard.

Improved on her debut effort and confirmed her early promise when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time out. Should win a race like this eventually but chances are she will find one to good here again.

Despite this yard having made a sparkling start to the season it would be a surprise to see this one add to the winning tally. Lost all chance at the start on her debut at Pontefract and it will more than likely be handicaps that see her in a better light.

Comes from a yard that have made a quicker and better start than usual to the season. Had three relatively quick runs as a juvenile with the best two coming at Kempton Park on the AW and should improve this year and sets the standard given her maiden form.
Debutante and a half-sister to several winners including smart 6f winner Shanghai Glory and winner up to 1m2f Choose Me. Comes from a top yard and likely to take a hand if ready to go.

Winning debutantes from this yard are rare and it would be a surprise if this sister to a 5f juvenile winner in France was good enough here.

Looks very exposed at this level and the weights are certainly not in her favour.

Interesting debutante to whom the market should prove a good guide to. Well related sort who is a half-sister to several winners and one to keep an eye on.

Looks to be the second string from the yard who had shaped well on her debut at Beverley. Has gone the wrong way since though and totally blew the start on her reappearance at Nottingham and might be one to take care with.

Forecasts

Aimez La Vie (5/4), Ghadaayer (2/1), Hamster Jam (6/1), Harba (13/2), Castle Hill Cassie (8/1), Miss Bates (14/1), Sue's Angel (20/1), Starboard Watch (28/1), Decima (40/1), Maid In Brittain (66/1), Red Shanghai (250/1)

Verdict

The two AW efforts that Ghadaayer turned in are some of the best form on offer here but she did disappoint on her only turf start and for that reason it may be best to rely on AIMEZ LA VIE. She’s shown some useful for so far and the Fahey yard has made a good start to the year. Castle Hill Cassie and Hamster Jam are two others to consider with Starboard Watch an interesting debutante.
  1. Aimez La Vie
  2. Ghadaayer
  3. Starboard Watch
