Milan gelding represents trainer in a rich vein of form recently, worth a check in the market for this racecourse debut.
Beaten a long way over a slightly longer trip at this venue in February on first outing, has to improve a good deal to get involved in the finish now.
Weakened in the closing stages at Fairyhouse earlier this month over hurdles in first rules appearance, reverts to this sphere now and has to find more.
Won over C&D in really good style on debut in February and has strong claims of a follow up now with top bumper rider staying faithful.
Soldier of Fortune gelding related to a couple of Flat winners, doesn't immediately stand out for this test on debut.
A €61,000 3yo Presenting gelding, is related to a bumper winner Jot'em Down though no surprise if he's seen to best effect jumping in time.
This €80,000 3yo Beat Hollow gelding represents the champion trainer on debut, yard are in form but must be noted that trainer's son looks elsewhere in the field. Booking of Katie Walsh isn't any sort of negative however.
Beaten to the tune of 23L in sole bumper run to date at Leopardstown in January, will require plenty more if hoping to have a big say in this.
€12,000 3yo Youmzain gelding is well-related to a number of winners in France, makes racecourse debut now and will need to be above average to make it a winning one.
Second runner for the yard in this, a son of Sinndar that cost €28,000 the market is probably going to serve as the best guide to expectations currently.
Easy winner of a point-to-point on sole outing to date, has to be respected for this rules debut representing champion trainer-elect and top-class amateur rider.
€38,000 3yo, Flemensfirth gelding, he'll wear a tongue strap for this first outing on the track and will have plenty on to match stablemate Early Doors.
Fair run over hurdles at Navan last month on debut when finishing fourth of 12 over this trip on heavy. Switches to bumpers now though things have gone a little quiet for leading trainer just recently.
Close breeding link to the outstanding mare Annie Power is noted, this Stowaway gelding cost €35,000 and is worth a secondary glance in the betting.
Won a point-to-point last month, represents in-form Elliott team in this though jockey bookings might suggest that Rapid Escape is the more likely of the Cullentra pair.
A €25,000 3yo Balko gelding, the yard possess a decent strike rate in bumpers and they have secured the services of a very proficient amateur for this ride.
Forecasts
Early Doors (6/4), Rapid Escape (5/2), Hollowgraphic (7/1), Vision Des Flos (12/1), Boot Camp (12/1), Valdieu (16/1), Stacks Mountain (18/1), Mujadel (20/1), Spin A Yarn (25/1), Cask Mate (25/1), Fortune Street (33/1), Its Only A Dream (33/1), Stoical Sam (40/1), Gallant John Joe (50/1), Dundeedy Lad (66/1), Knockersally Lad (80/1)
Rapid Escape is a newcomer to note for the Elliott squad, having won his point-to-point nicely and with Codd booked, they'll surely prove popular in the betting for this. Equally attractive however is EARLY DOORS, who scored with plenty in hand over C&D in February and it is noted that his jockey stays on board despite a promising newcomer from his father's yard lining up. That newcomer is Hollowgraphic, who won't lose out for the booking of Walsh to steer, while Vision Des Flos is another debutant to note along with the second Cullentra runner, Valdieu.
- Early Doors
- Rapid Escape
- Hollowgraphic
