Has been kept busy this winter with frequent races on the all-weather including a couple of close finishes despite her not having won a race since September 2015. She does look exposed but she arguably prefers the turf and first time cheek pieces should help as well.
Won a less competitive race than this at Chelmsford in October and remains 2lb higher in the handicap, but she's more lightly raced than many of these and this looks to be her optimum trip.
Narrow win in a Goodwood handicap back in August was probably a career best and she's been running encouraging races in defeat since. Returns to the course after a short break as a C&D winner here and she holds leading claims.
Consistent sort who has arguably been a little bit luck to go up only 8lb in the handicap since September, given she has won twice and gone close on a number of other occasions. Placed over C&D on her only other attempt at it and could go close today.
C&D winner who has badly lost her way recently and needs to rediscover the best of her form from last year now dropped back to 6f in order to have any sort of a say in this.
Last time out winner who seemed to relish the switch to 6f that day and though she's up 7lb for that easy victory she has blinkers on for the first time (she showed signs of temperament issues just prior to the race that day). She's a player if building on that performance.
Sole career win came over shorter at Wolverhampton last May, and has looked held by the handicapper recently, shown by the fact he didn't have his mark changed for seven races in a row (he's now been dropped just a pound).
Progressive looking type who was running some great races last summer before being put away for the winter early. Needs to overcome that absence of around ten months and has been raised 10lb compared to his last victory at Bath but he's still a very possible winner.
Narrowly won a weak race at Wolverhampton in November but that was hardly impressive and was his only victory since September 2015. Is not getting any younger and should find this competitive race too much of a test.
Back-to-back victories at Redcar and Wolverhampton at the end of last season (both over today's trip) are encouraging but he has struggled on two starts since and remains on a higher mark than he's won off before. Perhaps first time blinkers will help him to some extent.
Hasn't won on turf since September 2011 and this is his first run not on a synthetic surface for his current trainer. Interesting to see how he does returned to a grass surface, but could be vulnerable to a younger contender here.
C&D winner who has looked firmly exposed in all her recent starts, including when beaten 9¾L on the Wolverhampton Tapeta when last seen in December. Others look likelier types in this.
Has placed once in nine races and the beginning of her handicapping career has been what can only be described as underwhelming. Plenty more needed in a competitive heat such as this.
Has run some interesting races over different distances recently, and now returns to this trip having run well over it in the past. Yet to win in his career but not without hope off his current weight.

This is a fairly open looking race where not many can be discounted out of hand, but QUITE A STORY is the one who interests most. This C&D winner won a handicap at Goodwood last summer which she followed up by running some nice races in defeat. She returns to the course after a short break today and as a proven course performer is entitled to go well. Titus Secret is another viable option given how progressive and consistent he looks, while Concur could also run a big race off bottomweight.
- Quite A Story
- Titus Secret
