Power filly related to plenty of winners. Too green to do herself justice on debut but will have learned plenty from that and should go well.
Tamayuz filly half-sister to two moderate winnners. Will want further than this with time. Jockey rides this course well.
War Front filly, half-sister to the very useful Group 1 winner Uncle Mo. Beautifully bred, wears a tongue-tie for debut and much respected but this yard but she may want quicker ground than this and would probably like a little more of a stamina test.
Swiss Spirit filly, cost €34,000 as a yearling whose dam was a moderate AW winner. Trainer excels with his sprinters so any market support should be noted.
Power filly who ran well on debut before weakening late on. Will have learned plenty from that and trainer has had a good start to the season. Market can guide with regards to expectations on second start.
Dandy Man filly whose dam won over sprint trips. Yards debutantes usually need their debut but she does get the services of a top jockey who is a dab hand over sprint trips.
Holy Roman Emperor filly who is a half-sister to Tones and dam was useful. Disappointing on debut when hampered and then seemingly outpaced in the early stages, finished tailed off. The interference may have spooked her so not completely ruled out, particularly if there's any market support.
Intikhab filly whose dam was a useful AW winner. Trainer has an usually low strike-rate at this course (5.8%) so this filly may be best watched on debut.
Only shown a moderate level of ability in two starts at Dundalk and it would be a surprise if she was good enough to take this contest on what she's shown so far.
Epaulette filly, cost €7,000 as a yearling. Well beaten 25/1 shot and will have needed to have learned plenty from that if she's to compete here.
Debut effort wasn't devoid of promise at Naas but well beaten at Dundalk last time and draw unlikely to be ideal in this type of race.
Dandy man filly, cost €16,000 as a yearling. This trip likely to be too sharp for her on debut.
Ran with promise on debut at Dundalk and has race fitness on his side over most in here. Should improve for that effort and jockey rides this course well, he also has a good strike-rate when teaming up with this trainer (13.82%); plenty to like about her chances.
Dandy Man filly, cost €35,000 as a yearling. Excellent debut effort when beaten ½L third but the runner-up from that race has come out and won twice since. Could progress from that and the booking of top jockey catches the eye.
Clodovil filly, cost €25,000 as a yearling. Plenty of speed in her pedigree and market can reveal expectations on debut.
Forecasts
Summerseat Mist (4/1), Could It Be Love (4/1), Social Butterfly (5/1), Himmah (11/2), In The Dip (8/1), Damselfly (10/1), My Silver Nails (12/1), Crown Leah (16/1), Amenette (16/1), Too Familiar (20/1), Dandy Sue (20/1), Piper Bomb (20/1), Feadan (25/1), Lady Epaulette (50/1), Casino Red (66/1)
SOCIAL BUTTERFLY went well on debut while shaping like she would come on for the run and she looks like she could go well for a jockey that has a good record around here. The form of Summerseat Mist's close up third last time out has already been franked and she could progress from that run while any market support for Could It Be Love would be interesting and she looks like the most interesting of the newcomers.
- Social Butterfly
- Summerseat Mist
- Could It Be Love
