Verdict

This is a race that revolves around AL ZAMAN. If Simon Crisford's son of Cacique can build on the potential he showed on debut at Nottingham at the back end of last year, then he should run out a relatively easy winner here. He showed plenty of ability that day and shaped as if this trip would be perfect for him. If he disappoints, Orsino looks like an interesting alternative, as a son of Galileo related to many classy winners over similar trips to this, while of the many horses switching to the Flat from jumps racing, Wemyss Point could prove to be the best.
