Won twice over hurdles but those were both relatively poor quality events and he has plenty more on now in this company. Easily discounted from calculations.
Showed little in four bumpers, with his best result coming when beaten 4½L on debut. Entitled to find many of these too good .
Finished third in the Silver Trophy over hurdles, and has recently left Dan Skelton's and been tried on the Flat by his new trainer. Debut over an insufficient 1m2f was satisfactory and he should be able to come for that over the longer trip.
Fair form in four bumpers over the recent jumps season, including when beaten only a head at Market Rasen last time out. Could make an impact now switched to the Flat but entitled to find this trip a little on the sharp side.
Showed nothing except for a very poor temperament when making his debut at this course over shorter last month. The extra four furlongs in front of him today will have to make all the difference, and that seems unlikely.
Once-raced on the Flat having been sent hurdling after finishing fifth on his racecourse debut in a maiden. Achieved a good level of form in that sphere and could get involved if able to transfer that form.
Much improved effort at Kempton last time when coming a fair fourth, having shown little on debut when finishing last of all. More needed here but evidently he's going the right way.
Very promising debut at Nottingham in October (1½m good to soft),, when he looked the sort who would improve massively for a big step up in trip. Wears a tongue tie for the first time and rates the one to beat in the field.
Galileo colt who cost 75,000gns as a yearling and who is related to multiple winners. Yard don't have a bad record with juveniles and he's worth a check in the market on debut.
Dansili colt who boasts a pedigree with plenty of stamina, and is also closely related to multiple Group 1/Classic winners. Holds a Derby entry himself and is a fascinating newcomer for a yard currently in great form.

This is a race that revolves around AL ZAMAN. If Simon Crisford's son of Cacique can build on the potential he showed on debut at Nottingham at the back end of last year, then he should run out a relatively easy winner here. He showed plenty of ability that day and shaped as if this trip would be perfect for him. If he disappoints, Orsino looks like an interesting alternative, as a son of Galileo related to many classy winners over similar trips to this, while of the many horses switching to the Flat from jumps racing, Wemyss Point could prove to be the best.
