Solid effort when 2½L sixth of 16 on her debut over 6f at Navan (yielding) in September but disappointed at The Curragh later that month. Makes her seasonal debut here.
Well beaten in two maiden's so far including over an extended 7f in a first time hood at Tipperary earlier this month. Likely to struggle here.
Reluctant pre-race and very slowly away when pulled up in a 7f maiden on her only start at two. Makes her debut for a new trainer here.
Well beaten on debut at The Curragh last year but much better when beaten 3¾L over 6f at Naas (yielding) on her seasonal debut earlier this month. Likely to run well in this.
Finished 3L second on her seasonal return over 6f at Naas earlier this month. Ran a couple of solid races in two starts prior to that at Dundalk last autumn and likely to play a leading role in this.
Unraced daughter of Vale Of York. Cost €20,000 as a yearling in 2015 and a half-sister to six time winner Elusive Ellen. Dam won four times at around a mile and likely to improve for this experience.
Placed three times from six career outings including in handicaps off marks in the mid-70's at Gowran Park the last twice. Drops back into maiden company here and interesting to see how she gets on here.
Beaten 24L when finishing 16th of 18 over an extended 1m at Cork earlier this month. Best watched in a first time tongue tie.
Well held in two maiden outings including in a first time hood at Dundalk in November and likely to fair better in handicap company.
Made a promising debut when shaping as if she'd appreciate further in finishing third over an extended 7f at Tipperary (soft) earlier this month. Likely to have come on for that run and an interesting runner here.
Stepped up on her moderate debut when beaten over 6L into tenth over 6f at Naas on her return to action earlier this month. Probably best watched here however.
Well beaten when sent off joint-favourite for a maiden over an extended 1m at Cork (heavy) at the start of the month. Likely to be better than the bare result suggests and worth a check in the market in a first time hood.
Finished 15th of 21 on her debut over 6f at The Curragh (good) in July last year. Unraced since and probably best watched today.
Run three good races in maiden company including in a first time hood and tongue tie over an extended 1m2f at Dundalk earlier this month. Placed over 6f and 7f at two but takes a considerable drop in trip for her second run of the season here.
Beaten 4½L when finishing sixth of 15 over 6f at Naas on her debut earlier this month. Expensive purchase having cost connections 725,000 gns as a yearling and likely to improve on that debut in a first time hood here.
Stepped up on her sole start of 2016 when finishing runner-up over an extended 7f at Tipperary (soft) earlier this month. One for the shortlist in this competitive affair.
Forecasts
Puppetshow (6/4), Smoulder (9/2), Camiyra (6/1), Mollie The Moo (8/1), Yulong Baokui (9/1), Butoolat (10/1), Looking Good Carol (12/1), Dandys Gold (16/1), Mearu (25/1), Moncontour (33/1), Curly Girl (100/1), Ai Chan (100/1), Laodicea (100/1), Alohamora (100/1), Fuaran (100/1), Barrys Girl (125/1)
CAMIYRA can register her first victory in this fillies maiden race. The selection made a good debut on turf when finishing runner-up over 6f at Naas two weeks ago and shaped as if this return to 7f would suit on that occasion. Puppetshow looks likely to be best of the remainder having finished runner-up the last twice including over this distance last October and she drops considerably in trip here following her seasonal debut at Dundalk. Yulong Baokul ran well on her seasonal debut over 7f at Tipperary earlier this month and can claim third while Mollie The Moo is another to note given she's likely to be better than she showed on her debut at Cork three weeks ago.
- Camiyra
- Puppetshow
- Yulong Baokui
