Has to have good ground or quicker to show his best, and has presumably been saved with a summer campaign in mind. Was an easy winner when last seen and looked progressive too, so if fit after a break would hold a leading chance here.
Did beat Beneficial Joe at Warwick last October (by eight lengths) but is 10lb worse in at the weights today, and recent form has taken a turn for the worse, finishing well beaten at Wincanton when last seen. Can only be watched after that performance and more likely winners.
This sort of trip on good ground suits him best, so no issues on those scores, but hasn't been seen since unseating at Fakenham last October. Has gone okay fresh before, so break not necessarily a worry, Still nicely handicapped on old bumper form and may have more to offer.
Been on the downgrade for a while now, and handicapper has dropped him another chunk after a moderate effort at Uttoxeter last time out. Best to wait for signs of a revival until getting involved, despite a tempting mark.
On a mark 2lb lower than his last winning one, so no complaints from a handicapping point of view. Stays well and goes best on good ground, and has won after a break before. One of the more interesting ones, and any money for her should be noted.
Regressive for over a year now, and no signs of halting the slide after another poor effort at Wetherby in March when last seen. Can't be entertained as a likely winner of this in current form.
Well into the veteran stage now, and hasn't shown anything in any of his last four starts, pulling up in three and finishing last in the other. Return to better ground may help the situation and nicely handicapped these days, but surely more likely winners.
Was in good form last spring, winning one and finishing second when trying to follow up, but shown little in four runs this season and plenty to prove now.

Forecasts
Imperial Prince (11/4), Policy Breach (3/1), Beneficial Joe (7/2), Somerset Jem (9/2), Daveron (5/1), Bruce Almighty (11/2), Samingarry (13/2), Patsys Castle (8/1), See Double You (20/1), The Road Ahead (33/1)
Top weight BENEFICIAL JOE was going the right way when he was last seen and has clearly been kept fresh with better ground a must for him. In a race where plenty appear regressive or past their best, he is one that should have more to offer. The Road Ahead is into the veteran stage now but first time up could be the time to catch her and if the market speaks in her favour, that should be taken note of. Imperial Prince is going the right way too and although this is a bit tougher, he should get in the money again, at worst.
