Lawman filly, cost 40,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to Librisa Breeze. Possible she will want further than this looking at her overall profile but should go well for a trainer/jockey that have a smart strike-rate when teaming up.
Quality Road filly, cost $120,000 as a yearling. Yard have had a quiet start to the season but good chance this one will enjoy the trip and should enjoy fast ground.
Teofilo filly, cost 17,000 gns as a yearling and her dam placed at Listed level. Could go well for a jockey who has a good record when teaming up with this trainer.
Mayson filly, cost just £9,000 as a yearling but 140,000 gns as a two-year-old. Trainer adept at readying one for a debut and she looks like a speedy type on paper so should go well for connections who can do no wrong this week provided she gets the trip.
Invincible Spirit filly whose dam placed in Listed company and she was a half-sister to the Group 1 winner Muhaarar. Trainer has a good record with his newcomers and he's started the season in excellent form (6-26 in the last 14 days) so she could go close for a jockey that rides this course well.
Frankel filly whose dam was a Group 1 winner. Clearly impeccably bred and trainer's runners can be ready on debut. Any market move would no doubt be significant.
Artie Schiller filly, cost $65,000 as a yearling and sold again later that year for 50,000 gns. Related to several Grade 1 winners and yards runners have been particularly forward this time around so another to enter considerations.
Hard-Spun filly whose dam was by Galileo. May just want further than this but an exciting prospect nonetheless and shouldn't be dismissed for these connections.
Power filly, cost £25,000 as a yearling and related to winners but there looks to be some exceptionally well-bred types in here and may struggle a little on the class front.
Forecasts
May Sky (3/1), Superioritycomplex (3/1), Butterfly Lily (10/3), Omneeya (5/1), Mulhimatty (12/1), Jinkie Pink (16/1), Ruxleys Star (16/1), Highway One (25/1), World Power (25/1)
Possibly one of the hottest fillies' maidens one will see all year with a host of well-bred sorts representing trainers who can get them ready for their debut but the slight preference is for the Frankel filly OMNEEYA. She is related to several Group 1 winners and Marco Botti is capable of getting them right first time. May Sky is an obvious danger as she was sold for more than ten times what she was bought for as a yearlng last year and represents connections in excellent form. Mulhimatty's trainer has started the season well and she is another with a nice pedigree. At a likely bigger price, it would be no surprise to see Highway One run a good race on debut.
- Omneeya
- May Sky
- Mulhimatty
