Well-backed on most of his starts last season and won two of his four races but form of those races hasn't worked out particularly well and he's been gelded in the interim. Will struggle to concede weight all round in this race.

Respectable second on final start of last season and clearly improved in the off-season with him taking account for a smart field at Doncaster at the Lincoln meeting. More to come no doubt and trainer has hit a bit of form but he'll need to improve plenty again to get the better of this lot and justify his Derby entry.

Won a York maiden before finishing an excellent fourth in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster when last seen. No doubt that is the best piece of form on the table and extra distance should bring about more improvement for this Sea The Stars colt.

Displayed greenness on both his starts last year but prevailed over the mile here regardless on his second start in soft ground, beating Raheen House in the process. Soft ground may have given him the edge on that occasion and that runner appeared to improve markedly but should go well again .

Impressive winner at Newcastle on debut and the second and the fourth placed fillies have both come out and won again since. However, time of that race didn't appear anything special and stable-jockey prefers the other filly in the line up. Has an Oaks entry.

Stayed on gamely to win at Yarmouth on debut, running away from the whip a little in the closing stages. Benefited from being drawn on what appeared to be the quicker side but impressive performance nonetheless. Interesting to see whether she is as good on fast ground but she does appear to be the trainer's and/or owner's first string.

Forecasts

Shutter Speed (5/4), Raheen House (7/2), Enable (5/1), Temple Church (8/1), Dubawi Prince (9/1), Maths Prize (14/1)

Verdict

It's RAHEEN HOUSE who has the eye-catching piece of form in the book and he's likely to thrive upped in trip this year. Temple Church beat the selection earlier last season in soft ground and he's a danger to all if as effective on a quicker surface while Shutter Speed and Dubawi Prince can fight it out for the minor honours with the former narrowly preferred after showing such a game attitude on debut.
  1. Raheen House
  2. Temple Church
  3. Shutter Speed
