Bought privately for £2,000 as a yearling. Full-sister to 6f AW 2yo winner Canford Belle out of a 6f 2yo winner, who is a full-sister to a 5f 2yo winner and a half-sister to 5½f-1m2f winner. Grandam also 6f 2yo winning half-sister to 7f Group Three 2yo winner Rag Top. Yard had recent winner and market check advised.
Half-sister to two winners from 6f-1m. Dam also 6f AW winner and well related to winners from 5f-7f, including Group Two scorer Welsh Emperor. Yard not noted for first-time juvenile winners and probably best watched today.
£90,000 purchase as a yearling. First foal of a French 1m2f-1m4f winner who is a half-sister to French 1m2f Group One winner Morandi. Trip plenty short enough for debut though yard does well with juveniles so precautionary market check advised.
Cost €36,000 as a yearling and first foal of a Listed-placed 5f 2yo winner, related to other good sprinters, including third dam Golden Nun, winner of a Group Three. Top yard in good form and with 15% juvenile strike rate, suggesting that she will be thereabouts on debut.
By a dual 7f Group Three-winning sire who did not win as a juvenile and out of a 6f 2yo winning full-sister to 1m-1m1f winner Catchanova. Stable can get one ready to win first time so another for whom a market check is advised.
€5,000 yearling. Full-sister to 5f 2yo winner and 7f AW winner Letmestopyouthere and half-sister to five other winners, including over 6f at 2yo. Dam also 6f winner as a juvenile. Sire's first crop enjoyed a 30% strike rate over sprint trips. Interesting if support for her, though yard not red hot.
€12,000 yearling. Half-sister to two 2yo winners, including at this trip, out of a 1m 2yo winning half-sister to a 7f-7.5f Group Three winner. Yard not fully got going yet since start of turf season, but have very respectable juvenile strike rate.
€3,000 buy closely related to several sprint winners, including one as a 2yo. Dam won over 7½f, while grandam won from 1m-1m4f. Not an obvious first-time scorer and looks best watched on this occasion.
€40,000 foal, increased to 52,000 GNS as a yearling. Half-sister to seven winners, including a pair of French Listed-placed 2yos. Stable's first juvenile runner of season and one to keep an eye on in the market to gauge confidence.

Notebooks at the ready for a race where there is a larger-than-average percentage of guesswork involved here with a field of newcomers kicking-off 2017 at this venue. The market should provide a fair few clues as to what is expected of them, though without that knowledge the suggestion is MAGGIES ANGEL, who is from sprinting stock and whose dam was placed in Listed company as a juvenile. Society's Dream is another that reads well, along with Under Offer and Runthatbymeagain.
