Shaped well on his debut at Thirsk before winning over C&D in a maiden on his only subsequent start. Opening mark looks fair enough although the trainer doesn't have an outstanding record with his handicap debutantes.
Placed in all three starts in maidens at around 7f and off the mark on nursery debut at Haydock in October off a mark of 74. 5lb higher here and may be open to further improvement.
Delivered some consistent efforts last year in maidens and progressed again on a Doncaster nursery on his final run as a juvenile. Gelded over the winter and won a maiden at Chelmsford last time out (made all) and may do better still.
Improved for his debut run when winning a Newcastle maiden over 7f and showed good form on his nursery debut. Ran poorly on his final start of the season at Ayr but conditions were the most testing he had faced and he might do better here back on a firmer surface.
Won on his debut over C&D as a juvenile but just failed to go on from that in most of his subsequent starts. Did however manage to post a decent effort on his last start of the season although the yard is a little quiet at the moment in relation to a few in this field.
Really failed to build on his initial efforts last year and was tried over further than today's trip. Ended the season with creditable third on nursery debut off a 2lb higher mark but others look to have a little more improvement in them.
Had the look of one who had been brought along with nurseries in mind and duly won on his first start in that sphere at Musselburgh over 7f. Failed to follow that up in two further races in handicaps although a mile looked to be too far last time out but he might not have the scope of some of the others.

Areen Heart (5/2), Lualiwa (3/1), Salamah (7/2), Actualisation (5/1), Proud Archi (7/1), Brogan (7/1), Our Charlie Brown (9/1), George Reme (10/1)
With the Richard Fahey yard in good form and having taken this race in 2014 and 2015 his Areen Heart will be of interest here. Both Salamah and Brogan can be expected to improve this year although both may improve for the run. George Reme comes into this on some of his form and should appreciate underfoot conditions. LUALIWA has already had a run this year and that might just tip the scales in his favour off what still looks a decent mark.
