Has shown some useful form in handicaps over this trip but has never won one. Had plenty of tries off this sort of mark but does look hard to win with.
Comes back after missing his three-year-old season for a new yard. Only win so far came over 6f on Fibresand and hard to know what to expect here.
On a long losing run as he starts out life for a new yard having not won since 2014. The mark is falling and the handicapper is starting to relent but he faces a wide draw here and his slow starts could see him on the back foot early here.
Looks likely to show his best form as a sprinter although he has yet to try 5f. Won a maiden over 6f last year and ran well in handicaps after that although he did disappoint on his last start of 2016. With a good yard though and the type to make his mark this year as a sprinter.
Has the very awkward outside draw here that will make life difficult as he bids to regain the winning thread. Won just the once last year over 5f at Musselburgh off a mark of 90 and has slipped below that mark here but his best efforts are becoming hard to predict.
Gained the plumb draw here right next to the rails and from a stable that has made a good start to the turf season. Showed some progressive form last year when winning three 5f handicaps and should have another good season although he may just need this run.
Ended last season on a low note and still 4lb above his last winning mark and all his wins have come over sharp 5f trips. Has shown his best form at Chester and this may well be an outing to ready him for a return there in a couple of weeks.
C&D winner who hasn't had much luck with the draw here being posted out wide. Won twice last year over 5f responding well to pressure on both occasions and mat well have to repeat a similar trick if he's to go close here (has run well fresh before).
Has shown his best form when making the running and won in that manner at Musselburgh on July off a 4lb lower mark. Goes without headgear here (worn for last five starts) on seasonal debut and may just need this run from a tough draw.
Useful type who has won over C&D and won two 5f handicaps last year and still looked as though he could win off this mark. Looked as though he had gone off the boil last two starts of last year but very much the sort who can win sprint handicaps this year off this sort of mark.
Nicely drawn for his seasonal debut and from a yard that is going well at the moment. He ran some decent races last year (often travels well) although he only won once at Ayr over 5f off a 1lb higher mark. Usually held-up so will need some luck in-running but has run well fresh before.
One of the few to have had a run this season looking in need of his seasonal debut at Doncaster over 6f. Usually runs his best races at York although he hasn't actually won since 2013.
C&D winner who was in good form last year winning handicaps at Pontefract and Beverley in August. Now off a mark 3lb above that last winning mark and failed to impress on her recent AW outing at Wolverhampton.

Forecasts
Gamesome (7/2), East Street Revue (5/1), Burnt Sugar (7/1), Lexington Place (15/2), Edward Lewis (8/1), Bogart (8/1), Powerallied (10/1), Snap Shots (10/1), Bashiba (14/1), Kibaar (14/1), Sandra's Secret (20/1), Meadway (22/1), Singeur (33/1), Rasheeq (50/1)
A competitive and awkward handicap to work out plenty of these making their seasonal debuts. Edward Lewis very much looks the sort who can win handicaps this season as does Bashiba. East Street Revue has to be considered from a good draw and with the yard going well but in the end the vote goes to LEXINGTON PLACE from the in-form Ruth Carr yard off a pace he should relish.
- Lexington Place
- East Street Revue
- Edward Lewis
