Oasis Dream colt who holds a Derby entry and looks sure to be suited by further. Crowley prefers Mukalal though.
A little unlucky not to have got his head in front yet but sets a good standard on form and the jockey booking is an obvious positive. Trainer's runners often come on for their seasonal reappearance though.
Beaten a neck over an extended 1m at Windsor on his third outing as a juvenile in October and finished third on his return at Doncaster earlier in the month. May come on for that but will need to if he's to land this affair.
Cost €400,000 but showed nothing on debut at Leicester last year, letting greenness get the better of him. Dam was a Group 1 winner in Italy so clearly well-related and any market support would be encouraging.
Well beaten on two AW starts and impossible to fancy in this line up with some classy individuals in the field.
Changed hands for significantly less money as a two-year-old than he'd cost as a yearling and was never going the pace over 6f at Kempton on his debut last month, finishing an 8L seventh behind Ashwag. Looks out of his depth.
Nice debut effort and first-time hood should help him settle better. Would appear to be the stable first-string and jockey rides this course well so if he can find a bit of improvement he should be thereabouts.
Green and always in the rear when finishing seventh of 11 to Dream Castle on debut at Doncaster earlier this month and very disappointing at Nottingham last week failing to get involved. Trainer in good form but this gelding looks up against it.
Finished runner-up behind a smart sort here last time and will have learned plenty from that but did hang a little left under pressure. Wouldn't want to do that again here but trainer's runners are usually ready to go on return from a break and he should be thereabouts.
Forecasts
Top Mission (7/4), Firefright (7/4), Mukalal (7/1), Jewel House (15/2), Jumira Prince (8/1), Afaak (16/1), Never You Mind (100/1), Mister Chow (100/1), Lord E (250/1)
MUKALAL produced a good effort on his debut when going off a 50/1 shot and he should come on for that run; he could be the one to beat if he settles better. Firefright sets the standard on form but has developed a habit of not quite getting the job done while Top Mission looked like a smart sort on debut and could prove different class to the rest of this field, but didn't look entirely straight-forward on debut.
- Mukalal
- Firefright
- Top Mission
