Has a decent pedigree being out of a dam who is closely related to Dubawi. Failed to make the track for two top Newmarket yards and tailed off on bumper debut for this stable. Drops to a mile but hard to see that making much of a difference.

Has finished well down the field in two bumpers and hard to see him making any impact at this level.

Winner of a Sedgefield bumper who appears to have found 10f too sharp at Newcastle. Hard to see her faring any better now dropped to a mile. Will qualify for handicaps and will make more appeal over middle distances in that sphere.

Looked green in a couple of decent maidens at the back end of 2015. Off the track since and market will indicate her wellbeing. Rider 3-14 for stable.

Sixth foal and half-brother to four winners including Balios who was a Group Three winner over 1m4f. Yard's horses have been going well.

Related to smart AW performers Ashadihan and Mythical Madness. Stayed on to take fourth in an autumn maiden and was weak in the market before splitting a useful looking pair at Wolverhampton. Looks the type to win races this year.

Makes little appeal on pedigree and yard do better with their handicappers. Stable are going well but he remains of limited appeal.

First foal of a dam who was a Listed winner at 1m2f. Bumped into a smart one at Yarmouth last time with the winner picking up a Newmarket nursery next time. Clear of the third that day and looks one of the more likely types..

Half-brother to Caitie who was a winner over 6f out of a dam who was a winner at 7f-1m. Yard are 6-24 here but have made a slow start to the season.

Half-brother to Group One winner Seal Of Approval. Ran better than his final placing indicates on his debut. May prove himself better than that with the ground now riding faster.

Ran poorly last time having shown some ability on his debut. Looks up against it here with the big yards represented by well bred individuals.

Forecasts

Everything For You (11/4), Scoones (11/4), Merlin (5/1), Playwriter (7/1), Belgravian (15/2), Bumptious (15/2), Absolute Angel (40/1), Foxy Rebel (50/1), Royal Flute (100/1), Triangulate (250/1), Subotal (250/1)

Verdict

Belgravian and Playwriter are interesting newcomers, whilst Scoones may do better over middle distances in due course. Merlin and EVERYTHING FOR YOU contested juvenile maidens that have worked out well at Yarmouth and York respectively. Merlin will race in the Royal colours and ran into the useful Desert Skyline last time. Having made the running in a slowly run race that effort may flatter him. Everything For You has a fitness advantage having split a well supported pair at Wolverhampton. His York form might be good enough to land this anyway and he can take this en-route to better things.
  1. Everything For You
  2. Merlin
  3. Playwriter
