Top-class two-miler in the past, winning the 2014 Champion Hurdle, he was beaten over this trip by Tombstone at Gowran Park in February before a disappointing run in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham. Has a good chance in this line-up on ground that ought to be suitable.

Was two from four over hurdles in his younger days and ran well in Coral Cup at Cheltenham in 2015 before a long layoff. Wasn't disgraced in two chases late last year before a fall at this track in February. Switches to hurdles now and needs to step up his game to win.

Verdict

JEZKI disappointed at Cheltenham over 3m but he should get conditions to suit here having struggled last time over 2m in heavy going at Gowran Park in February. He isn't one to cast aside yet and can take the opener for the in-form Harrington team. Hidden Cyclone is thriving in the twilight of his career for this switch back to hurdling while Diakali is interesting on second start back from his latest layoff having perhaps needed the run last time. Stars Over The Sea will be one to monitor as he slots back into jumping for his new handler.
