Winner twice over hurdles so far and also successful three times in bumper races. Finished a 4L runner-up in a Grade 2 handicap when sent off joint-favourite at Newbury last month and likely to prove hard to beat her despite her penalties.
Finished 22L third on her hurdling debut at Ludlow on good-to-soft ground earlier this month. Also placed in a bumper at the same track back in October and likely to appreciate this step up in trip.
Beaten 9L in a bumper on her racecourse debut at Market Rasen last November but well beaten when making her hurdling debut the following month. Returns from a break here.
Finished runner-up in a point-to-point on debut in Ireland in February. Well held when last of 11 in a bumper on her debut for this yard at Bangor last month and probably best watched today.
Winner of a point-to-point from six starts in Ireland. Best rules effort so far came when finishing runner-up at Ludlow last time out when better ground appeared to suit and is an interesting runner stepped back up in trip here.
Well held in a bumper on debut but performed much better on hurdling debut when finishing runner-up over 2m4f at Southwell last month and an interesting runner with similar underfoot conditions predicted today.
Modest handicapper on the Flat but signs of ability on hurdling debut when fourth at a big price at Market Rasen in December. Held when falling last time out at Doncaster later that month and probably best watched in this.
Forecasts
Copper Kay (1/4), Swatow (5/1), Strangsmill (16/1), Athy River (20/1), Corrie Loch (20/1), Hepburn (25/1), Hollow Park (100/1)
COPPER KAY brings strong form into this race and looks capable of defying a double penalty following a good run in a large field Grade 2 handicap last time out. The selection is versatile in terms of ground conditions and can get the better of Swatow who has had just the two outings so far. Third place can go the way of Athy River who's been running well without winning so far and can register another placing in this.
- Copper Kay
- Swatow
- Athy River
