Four-time course winner but has never won over this far with all his wins coming over 6f. Has run his last eight starts here but off marks over 60 he's looked to struggle of late and that may again be the case here.
Runs on the Fibresand for the first time and his pedigree isn't an outstanding one for the surface. Probably needed his most recent run and did run well on his second run last year but the losing run is getting longer and longer.
Her third here on her only previous start on the surface doesn't amount to much and she still only has one win to her name. Last two starts have left a lot to be desired and probably best watched here.
Temperamental sort who can be slow away and pull hard in his races. Has however won here in the past over C&D off a 6lb lower mark. Took advantage of a drop in the weights to win last time out at Wolverhampton over 7f coming through late to win off a sound gallop but not one to totally trust to repeat that run heading back to a higher mark.
Still a maiden after seven runs and by a sire (Bushranger) with a very poor record on this surface. Failed to make much impression on Fibresand on his only previous try on the surface and his three runs in handicaps have been very modest.
His one run here came over an inadequate 5f and he was always playing catch up and in essence he probably acts on this surface. Had to drop to a basement mark to win his first handicap at Hamilton over a mile and followed up off a 5lb higher mark straight after over 1m1f at the same track. Back from a break here and 7f on this surface may well suit if he is fit after a break.
Should need no introduction at this track where he makes his 108th start and seeks his 16th win. Running relatively well of late but has never won over this trip and given his rather tardy starts it could well prove to be on the short side.
Yet to run on this surface and an overall record of 1/29 hardly inspires as the losing run starts to grow. Not had the best if fortune of late and certainly wasn't ideally placed last time out over further but still not totally convincing.
Capable of some relatively decent form on this surface (has won on it three times) and looked to take a step back in the right direction last time out here over a mile. Drops to a career low mark here (45) but stall 1 won't make life that easy.
Struggled on his first outing on this surface last time out and looks a very limited sort overall even in this lowly grade.

A low grade end to the card but one that does have some interest in it with the veteran General Tufto once again entering the equation although this 7f trip does look a little short. Grey Destiny isn’t an easy ride but has won here before while Fortinbrass is another who has some decent form here but looks to have struggled a little of late. Quadriga has the tricky stall 1 draw and AMY BLAIR if he is back his best could be the one here in an open finale.
