Can be a rather awkward sort but is capable of some good form on this surface and he's a three time winner on it over 6f. This mark looked to find him out last time out over 6f and not sure that his run style will be suited by the drop to the minimum trip here.
Had some good form here as a juvenile but his more recent form here in 2014 isn't so inspiring and he's not been seen at the track since. Did manage to win a Doncaster handicap off this mark last year but shaped only respectably after that but comes from a yard in sparkling form and not easily written off returning from a break.
The only one of this field not to have run at the track before and doesn't have the easiest draw here nearest that stands rail. Comes from a yard in good health at the moment but is yet to win a race and has an absence to overcome.
Seven-time Flat winner with the last victory coming off a mark of 80 last August over an extended 5f. Has plummeted down the handicap since then and really ought to be able to win off his current mark but had been well beaten on all his latest starts.
Trainer has an exceptional record with sprinters but despite that fact he's been out of luck of late with this one who is looking hard to win with. Generally gives his running though and for that reason the handicapper appears reluctant to cut him too much slack and he remains with a tough task off this mark.
Has looked totally out of sorts of late and his two runs on this surface have hardly inspired confidence. He's given another try over 5f here but much more needed than we have seen of late to take a hand.
Won on his first run here and on his initial run for this yard over 5f on his penultimate start when unexposed over the minimum trip. Found life a little tougher under a penalty returned to turf at Catterick a few days ago travelling well but narrowly touched off into third. Could well be on the premises again returned to this surface and off a 2lb lower mark.
Best run here came when second in a maiden over 6f on his second start but he remains a maiden. Came back from a long break when returned to the track recently again over 6f (needed the run) and should strip fitter this time although still has something to prove in handicaps back over 5f even off a falling mark.
Forecasts
Zylan (10/11), Big Amigo (3/1), Flash City (9/1), Silver Bid (9/1), Indian Tinker (12/1), Waneen (20/1), Corridor Kid (25/1), King Crimson (33/1)
The drop to 5f isn’t sure to suit Big Amigo and with FLASH CITY coming from a stable in very good form her gets the nod here. Zylan is 1/1 on this surface although his finishing effort on the turf last time out looked a little weak and that would be a slight worry. King Crimson is very well handicapped on his old form but hasn’t shown that much of late but a market watch is advised.
