Well beaten in all starts since transferring to this yard from France. Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m3f last time out and plenty to prove here.
Yet to win in seven outings but did run well when finishing third at Sedgefield last month. Disappointed at Stratford upped to 2m6f a fortnight later but not written off just yet.
Winner twice in his 21 race career that includes a victory over 2m5f at Kempton last time out. Races off a 6lb higher mark her and interesting if repeating that effort here.
Runner-up in a selling hurdle on final outing for previous stable at Worcester in September. Well beaten in four outings for current yard including at Ludlow last time out.
Maiden after 16 outings including nine for this stable. Well held at Chepstow on soft ground last time out and market support would be interesting with blinkers applied for the first time here.
Beaten 17L into third over 2m here on his handicap debut last month. Ground likely to be quicker today but handled faster surfaces on the Flat and is an interesting contender.
Finished third over 2m at Plumpton last month but failed to back that up when well beaten at Chepstow having been sent off favourite next time out. Steps up in trip here.
Ran a decent race when fourth of 16 at Taunton at the end of last month. That marked his best effort since joining this yard but he remains a maiden after 13 attempts.
Well beaten in three runs for this yard since returning from a long absence earlier this year. Handicap mark is falling as a result but has a bit to prove in first time blinkers here.
Failed to complete in four of his five outings for this stable including at Uttoxeter last time out. Has plenty to prove at present.
Forecasts
Mr Caffrey (3/1), Le Braye (4/1), Prince Mahler (9/2), Baldadash (6/1), The Kid (15/2), Chevalgris (8/1), Cheque En Blanc (8/1), Be Seeing You (20/1), Alla Svelta (33/1), Time For Champers (66/1)
CHEVALGRIS can claim his first success over hurdles by taking this opening handicap event. The selection ran well on soft ground here last time out but handled a sounder surface on the flat and should appreciate this step up in trip. The veteran Baldadash ran well when winning at Kempton last time out and can claim second ahead of the maiden Prince Mahler.
- Chevalgris
- Baldadash
- Prince Mahler
