Never figured when finishing a well-beaten tenth on debut at Doncaster earlier in the month (5f, good to soft). Sent off at big odds that day and it's easy to envisage a similar situation again today.
Finished one place, but 10L ahead of Afterthisone on their respective debuts at Doncaster earlier in the month. Plenty more needed here but it's possible he could learn from that first experience and be competitive for the places.
€30,000 yearling with a good sprinting pedigree who has the help of a low draw and a top jockey on his racecourse debut. Trainer isn't renowned for first time out winners, but he's worth a check in the market nonetheless.
Helmet colt who has plenty of speed in his pedigree and is related to some high quality winners. Eye-catching jockey booking on debut but he does have to overcome the widest draw of all.
Returns from France where he ran an improved race at Saint-Cloud over slightly shorter than this compared to his debut showing at Doncaster at the beginning of the month. Could take another step up, and his racecourse experience will help him here.
Well-bred filly who cost 50,000gns on her second sale as a yearling and looks to have the strongest claims of the newcomers on paper. The slight concern would be that she could do with a furlong or two extra with time but she could still prove to be the class act here.

Plunger (6/4), Dragon's Teeth (2/1), Heavenly Pulse (9/2), Kodiac Express (7/1), Red For Danger (8/1), Quick Skips Lad (12/1), Afterthisone (50/1)
Of the three horses who have raced before Quick Skips Lad probably has the best chance but in truth his claims look far from rock solid, though at least he did manage to come on for a fair debut at Doncaster during the Lincoln meeting when last seen in France. However it looks like it will pay to side with a newcomer and KODIAC EXPRESS is the most interesting. This daughter of Kodiac has an interesting pedigree, being out of an Exceed and Excel mare, and though an extra furlong or two may bring out the best in her with time, this is a novice event that may not take much winning. Plunger has plenty of speed in his pedigree and could be next best.
