Three-time C&D winner and recorded a career best when landing a Listed contest at York in 2015. While he's been running well of late, he needs plenty more in order to get involved.

Can be an awkward customer but has won a Group 2 and finished runner-up in a Group 1, both coming in France. Has his first start for a new yard now but far from dismissed if back to anything like his best. First-time tongue tie applied.

6/5
C&D winner and smart hold-up performer who has rattled off four wins on the bounce. Sets a standard on form after his easy win in a Listed contest at Kempton last time and likely to be hard to beat if he gets the breaks in running that he requires.

Well backed and narrowly failed to get up in a Wolverhampton Listed contest last time. Slowly into stride last time and won't get away with a tardy start around here against better rivals. Wide draw leaves him a tough ask.

My Target34
Age: 6|  Weight: 9-5| J: Connor Beasley| T: M Wigham| OR:  107
9/1
Former Godolphin inmate who has done nothing but improve for his current yard. Had the widest draw in Wolverhampton Listed contest last time and can be forgiven a moderate run on that basis. Better suited to around here and has five C&D wins to his name since November. This is no doubt tougher but he's hard to assess due to the nature of his running style and he could run well at a likely big price.

All his AW form has come around Wolverhampton and not been in much form on his last three starts. Has the widest draw to contend with and likely to struggle against this field.

Headed the market for the Lincoln and won the trial at Wolverhampton before failing to make the cut for the race. Performed too bad to be true in the consolation race and it should be seen as a positive he's turned out again quickly. Trainer and jockey have a fine record when teaming up together but this gelding needs to take his form to a new level to be considered for win purposes.

Won his last two outings, both Listed contests in France and has the beating of Sovereign Debt from their run on Polytrack at Deauville two starts back. Likeable, consistent sort who's bred for this type of surface and shouldn't be underestimated on GB debut.

Looked home and hosed when slipping the field in a Listed contest at Wolverhampton last time before his jockey eased up, nearly handing the race to the reopposing Keystroke. May be foolish to take the form quite at face value when he clearly got first run on the field but the booking of Moore suggests another big run may be expected and he could still be on the upgrade.

Age: 8|  Weight: 9-5| J: J P Sullivan| T: Mrs R Carr| OR:  110

Useful performer on his day but has been luckless at this meeting. Should have won two years ago when he was trapped on the rail and the rival that beat him last time had a clearer path. Best chances to land this probably behind him now.

Good seventh at Doncaster last time out behind stablemate Bravery but needs a career best to feature in this and his running style leaves him a hostage to fortune, particularly around here.

Age: 6|  Weight: 9-5| J: S De Sousa| T: M Appleby| OR:  102

Quirky type who finally got his head back in front at Southwell last time under the guidance of this jockey. Even his career best efforts would leave him a fair way short here though and his wide draw is off-putting. Not a type to rely upon.

Forecasts

Ennaadd (6/5), Qurbaan (11/2), Keystroke (7/1), Sovereign Debt (8/1), My Target (9/1), Salateen (12/1), Nimr (14/1), Donjuan Triumphant (20/1), Supersta (40/1), Steel Train (50/1), Mythical Madness (50/1), Alfred Hutchinson (66/1)

Verdict

ENNAADD looks the one to beat here as he goes in search of his fifth straight-win. He made easy work of a smart field at Kempton last time and that would appear to be the best form on offer. If the selection is to meet trouble, Salateen may be able to slip the field once again on the front end with Ryan Moore in the saddle. My Target could be still be improving and goes in search of his sixth course and distance success on the spin, his effort last time out can be forgiven away from this track.
