Normally takes a few runs to reach his peak but ran well following a layoff to go down narrowly at Dundalk and again in Listed company last time. On a fair mark judged by his successes in valuable races at Goodwood and Newmarket in 2016.
Has three wins and two second places from six starts. Faced a stiff task at the weights when landing a C&D conditions race. Looks the type to continue progressing and may prove himself better than this in due course.
Winner of two from five starts last year including a valuable prize at Goodwood's July meeting. Has been heavily supported in each of his last four races and could be even better than we have seen so far. Rider is 3-4 for the yard in the last two weeks.
Course specialist who is closely matched with Qaffaal and Ice Royal on running here last time when the steady pace would have suited his tactics. With Fire Fighting set to ensure a stronger gallop it may prove to be a different story this time.
Previously raced in both Chile and Norway, so difficult to get an accurate gauge on her level of ability. Sent off at 100/1 and never featured after a slow start at Kempton earlier this month. This is an even hotter race.
Hard to dismiss with yard in irrepressible form. Yet to win over this trip and two previous attempts have been in muddling races. Likes to come from off a strong pace and will get that now. Goes well here and form of last victory gained a boost on Saturday.
There was a lot to take from his latest performance when coming from off the pace to take fourth behind a well-handicapped horse who raced more prominently. Can win from this mark but this is more talented company than he is accustomed to.
Closely matched with Qaffaal and Pactolus on running over C&D last time. Would have appreciated a better gallop but record here is now 0-9. Looks hard to win with despite being generally consistent. Cheekpieces are refitted.
Has a 12lb pull with Rockspirit needing to find 3¾L on running at Yarmouth in August. Tends to start slowly and has looked a difficult ride. Won a couple of races last season including one for today's pilot. Can ill afford to miss the break on this track and with Fire Fighting likely to press on from the front.

POET'S WORD and Rockspirit are two nice prospects for this season who look set to go on to better things. Sir Michael Stoute has had three winners in the past fortnight and all have been ridden by Ryan Moore (gained from just four rides). POET'S WORD landed a gamble in a competitive handicap at the big Goodwood meeting before ailing to justify further confidence in another hot handicap at Doncaster next time. He appears to have a shade easier task at the weights than Rockspirit who outran his BHA rating to land a conditions race here last time. Marco Botti's charge is sure to progress but will need to run above that level here. Fire Fighting and Qaffaal will give their usual honest accounts whilst Intrude will be winning soon from this mark.
