Short-head 7F Salisbury winner in August 2016 who was comfortably held on handicap debut at Kempton (1m) in September 2016. Returns to action with stamina to prove (but in his pedigree).
2L course winner (1m) on handicap debut for Mark Johnston in August 2016. Not beaten all that far when fourth under a 6lb penalty at Beverley nine days later. Has left that trainer for 30,000 gns since and returns to the scene of his success for stable debut but is upped 2F in trip.
125,000 gns yearling who didn't show masses in three starts in maidens as a juvenile (7F to 1m). However, looks the type to be well suited by stepping up in trip for his handicap debut with a mark of 72 a reasonable enough starting point.
7F Newmarket maiden winner on just her second career start in July 2016, but perhaps that success dashed her chances in handicaps. Well beaten on both starts in this grade (including at Nottingham), she's been eased a few pounds but needs to return with her 'A' game to be involved.
Winner of a moderate 1m Haydock fillies maiden on her third career start in September 2016 (for Frankie Dettori), but produced a poor show when last of six on her reappearance at Wolverhampton last month (second Peace and Plenty and third Hertford Dancer run in Division 1).
Runner up from a 3lb lower mark on his handicap debut to San Souci Bay at Chelmsford in October 2016 (with that rival beaten by Willwams recently). Didn't get the run of that race and capable of improvement on return to action after a six month break.
Progressed in maidens, and produced a best effort when third to Son Of The Stars over 1m at Kempton in early December 2016. Up in trip for handicap debut, but is a half-brother to 1m2f winner Desert Way so no stamina worries.
Didn't have much power on his first two starts in July 2016, but much better in mid September when a well held third over 1m at Bath. Handicap debut, and open to improvement, but likely to find plenty strong enough today.
Stamina laden pedigree, and was in deep over an inadequate 7F on his first two outings in maidens, and possibly found Lingfield a shade too sharp when upped to 1m2f early last month. Interesting sort for handicaps with the market likely to tell the tale.
Well beaten on her Pontefract handicap debut in September 2016 (1m), and has to prove her stamina over this trip, so readily discounted.

Probably not the strength in depth compared with Division 1 at 4.50pm, so we can take a more speculative approach in making a selection. The market will be informative as to the chances of the interesting looking Padrinho, but the combination of Cumani and Spencer are to be feared with horses open to improvement. BEDOUIN fits the bill of a horse who should relish a step up in trip, and he's fancied to leave his maiden form well behind from a fair opening mark of 72 with the blinkers removed.
