Twice a winner as a juvenile, but both of those 5F victories came with cut in the ground. However, this is clearly her trip and with a number of placed efforts already to her name, she appears to be a fairly reliable type.
5F AW maiden winner in Ireland for Johnny Murtagh (November 2016), and made a fair start for this trainer (cost 120,000 gns) in chasing home the Kevin Ryan trained Major Jumbo at Wolverhampton in February. Up 2lb but effective on turf in Ireland.
Twice a winner from six juvenile starts, including on debut in April 2016 at Windsor, and with the tongue tie applied (retained) over C&D in October 2016. Up 4lb and encounters drying ground.
Well backed and duly bolted up in a moderate Newcastle 5f AW maiden in January 2017. Always well regarded, but had been most disappointing on his previous two starts (as a colt), and the gelding operation seems to have worked the oracle. Interesting handicap debutant.
Finished the 2016 campaign in fine fettle with victories at Thirsk (5F, July) and Yarmouth (6F, October), before a staying on fourth of 17 at Doncaster in November. This trip could be sharp enough for her seasonal reappearance but much respected.
Has really taken to the AW since switched from Ger Lyons to this Beverley based trainer, and has clashed with Blitz in Ireland previously. A shade unfortunate not to be 3 from 3 for this yard over this trip but an interesting sort switched back to turf with a leading jockey booked.
No stranger to valuable sales races as a juvenile, but his sole success came in a small field maiden at Chepstow in August 2016 when 2/11f. Handicap mark perhaps high enough and finished the season behind Awesome Allan over C&D in October 2016.
AW regular over the winter months winning on Tapeta at Newcastle and on the Fibresand at Southwell (in blinkers). Tough and reliable but a shade more exposed than some of these runners now switched back to turf.
Raced on 13 occasions as a juvenile for Richard Hannon, regularly placed, and winning a 6F September 2016 Pontefract maiden (good to soft) by 2¼L. Sold for £18,000 in November and makes his debut for a new trainer.
Fourth over C&D on her final start for Richard Hannon in October 2016 (to Awesome Allan). Joined this trainer for 14,000 gns and made a pleasing start in chasing home Godolphin's Dubai One (Erissimus Maximus third) over 5F on the Newcastle Tapeta in November. Absent since but could go well back on a fast surface which seems to suit.
€50,000 yearling who kept on strongly to score by 4½L on her debut at Beverley for Ann Duffield in May 2016 (5f good). However, after a fair fourth in a York Listed contest she left that trainer to join Karl Burke but has failed to progress further. One to note in the market, with improvement possible.
Ex Irish (dual winner for Denis Gerard Hogan in September 2016), but has shown little on the AW since switched to this trainer. Could do better now back on turf, but the best of her form has come with cut.
Dual juvenile sprint winner (Goodwood and Brighton) who returned from a winter break when sixth of seven on the Lingfield Polytrack (6F) late last month. Dropped 2lb for this switch back to turf.
5F Redcar maiden winner in September 2016, and only beaten a neck and a nose when switched to a 5F nursery at Catterick thereafter. On the up and on a fair mark of 73, but drawn on the flank which is never ideal.

Blitz did well enough on her first start for Clive Cox in February and looks an interesting recruit to these shores, whilst Richard Fahey has his horses in good order and Blue Suede will almost certainly repay her 14,000 guineas purchase price before too long. Awesome Allan has C&D winning form but is raised 4lb and encounters much less testing ground today and isn't certain to confirm placings with both Blue Suede and Diable D'or. Both Savannah Slew and Jack Flash are much respected given their fine end of season/aw form respectively, but there could be a potentially useful sort in this race. SCUZEME has always been well regarded by his trainer, and he was backed like defeat was out of the question when bolting up in a Newcastle AW Maiden in January after being gelded, and there's every chance to believe that an opening mark of 80 can be a winning one.
