C&D winner who really failed to build on that victory last year when running in handicaps. Very much bounced back to form last time out here when strong in the market and it would not be a surprise to see a full revival here.

Blinkers and a declining mark may well be a help to one who has won in handicaps but has disappointed of late. Last run can be excused (made bad early mistake) but others have more solid profiles.

There was definite promise in his earlier runs for his former yard both in bumpers and over hurdles. Scored on his first run for his new yard and goes handicapping off a favourable mark.

Comes back from a year long break with a new yard and has some relatively decent form in novice hurdles. Yard is in form and looks the type to improve going handicapping.

Stable certainly know how to prepare one for handicaps and he's shown some promise in novice hurdles. Looks as though there is better to come as he goes handicapping and well worth a watch in the market.

Obviously been hard to train over the years with some significant absences. Not won since August 2012 although outings have been limited and other preferred here.

Forecasts

Boston De La Roche (5/2), King Cool (5/2), Cornish Warrior (11/4), Sunnytahliateigan (5/1), Clondaw Bisto (7/1), Prouts Pub (12/1), Barney From Tyanee (14/1), Max Milano (66/1)

Verdict

One of if not the best race on the card with three handicap hurdling debutantes who all have claims in Cornish Warrior, Boston De La Roche and SUNNYTAHLIATEIGAN. All three have shown promise in novice hurdles but it’s the last named who gets the nod of the trio although it’s not hard to see any of them winning in this sphere. Both King Cool and Clondaw Bisto add to the depth of the race and can’t be left out of the equation despite the fact they may have plenty to do against the handicap newcomers.
  1. Sunnytahliateigan
  2. Cornish Warrior
  3. Boston De La Roche
