Raised 3lb for neck win over C&D last month from the re-opposing Queluz, the fourth home has scored a double since. Should be right in the firing line once again.
Filly wasn't at her best in two starts over the mile in December here and has been off since. She had previously run well over this trip however and, off a 3lb lower mark, can be given some claims in return to action.
A maiden after four starts, he's been off the track since July and was beaten 25L over this C&D is December 2015 on his only previous visit to the course.
Third over C&D last week, beaten 5L, has a bit to find with Six Silver Lane on previous running however.
Has failed to sparkle now in previous two visits here, including five days ago when upped to this trip again. Looks best watched off the same mark again.
Never a threat so far in six turf starts, has been away from the track for seven months and will be sporting a first-time tongue strap for this AW debut.
Narrowly beaten into second behind Six Silver Lane last time out over C&D, better off at the weights with that rival now and entitled to fair claims if producing same level of effort.
Didn't last home over 1m4f last time, races off the same mark now and sports blinkers for the first time. Should go well in again.
Beaten just under 5L in C&D handicap a fortnight ago, gets the addition of first-time blinkers here attempting to turn around form with winner Six Silver Lane and others.
Four-time course winner but signs best days might be in the past lately, including five days ago when attempting 2m. Visor goes on now dropping back in trip.
Wasn't far behind Six Silver Lane over C&D last time out, that was an improved effort and is lightly-race so there could still be more to offer.
Remains a maiden after 22 starts, six of them on this surface and most recent efforts around here have not yielded much hope that run is about to end.
Beaten 27L in a C&D maiden in February, makes handicap debut now with blinkers added for the first time and should be capable of a better effort.
Has run 26 times with winning, does run some promising races on this surfaces, including 19 days over a mile. First attempt at this longer trip.
Forecasts
Locus Standi (2/1), Queluz (5/1), Any Time (6/1), Six Silver Lane (13/2), Law Equity (12/1), Oh So Sensible (12/1), Shukhov (14/1), Ivaplan (14/1), Roter Baron (16/1), Dolly Rose (20/1), Havelock Ellis (33/1), Shoofly (40/1), Mighty Fine (40/1), Patricks Boy (50/1)
Six Silver Lane scored nicely over C&D last month and the form of that race will be tested here with the likes of narrow second Queluz and Law Equity, who finished third, back amongst the opposition. Of that trio, it is the winner that probably merits most consideration for this follow-up attempt. ANY TIME made a bid for victory over 1m4f last time around this track but was unable to see it out. A similar ploy now over this shorter trip might well see him rewarded. The returning Shoofly is also worth considering from a workable mark.
- Any Time
- Six Silver Lane
- Law Equity
