Well-held having gone off a 50/1 chance on debut over this trip at the Curragh in October. Returns to action sporting a first-time hood.
Ran a solid race over this trip on the AW at Dundalk in January on second start, open to improvement now back on grass and one of the more likely challengers in this.
Evidence of two AW outings at Dundalk over this trip, most recently in December, suggests she'll struggle to have a say in this.
Made a promising debut at Naas 16 days ago over 6f, should be open to progress now over this slightly longer trip and rates a leading contender.
Off since June, unthreatening in three British starts all over 5f, upped in trip now for first outing in the hands of new trainer and needs plenty more in first-time hood.
Roderic O'connor filly is nicely related to a number of winners and shouldn't have any problems on debut with this trip. Yard's horses are running well enough in the early season.
Returns from a ban here after controversial run at Dundalk 46 days ago over a mile. Should be perfectly suited by the 7f on offer now and holds solid claims.
Well beaten off in a Leopardstown maiden of 7f in October on debut. May have more to offer than that and yard are in excellent form.
Forecasts
Jet Streaming (5/4), Tobacco Bay (3/1), De La Vega (9/2), Yulong Baokui (5/1), Alohamora (20/1), Looking Good Carol (25/1), Kodiac Moment (50/1), Forevertwentyone (66/1)
Jet Streaming made a pleasing start at Naas recently and should give this a decent crack now upped in trip for Smullen in the plate once more. De La Vega showed better form on the AW at Dundalk on her second start and must rate a major player back on turf based on that effort but it might be worth siding with TOBACCO BAY to land the opener. She ran a nice race over the mile at Dundalk last time, despite incurring the wrath of the steward's afterwards and with further progress likely, is capable of getting off the mark in a race like this. Yulong Baokui could have more to offer on her second start with the Halford team in excellent heart.
- Tobacco Bay
- Jet Streaming
- De La Vega
