Won a Wetherby maiden last May but suffered at the hands of the assessor since then. Now 6lb lower than his original mark and sees out 1m2f, so this stiff mile likely to suit, as are forecast conditions.
4lb higher than when scoring at Southwell in January (1m). Beaten from this mark on turf before today and looking exposed, so needs to improve again to be winning this.
Won at Nottingham under today's pilot in October from 4lb lower (good to soft) and led them inside the 2f pole back at the same venue next time, before weakening. The latter was from today's rating, so a bit of improvement needed.
Scored at Chester in a 7½f handicap in July but then comfortably held in all five subsequent starts. Handicapper sets her off from 1lb lower than that success today and with her claimer up she should be thereabouts.
Not won a handicap for almost two years and 17 attempts, though beat all bar one home at Southwell last time from today's mark (beaten 4½L). Had won a claimer at the same track earlier last month, so is at least in good form, though still looks weighted up to the hilt.
Goes into this 2lb lower than his latest success, which was at Musselburgh in June under today's jockey (good to firm). Form tailed off after that and was last of eight on his reappearance run at Newcastle month. Should strip fitter here and interesting if supported.
Was in cracking form this time last year, winning three out of four at one stage and improved again later in the summer to win off 72 at Newmarket in August. 2lb higher today and another who was last in what was probably a recent pipe-opener on the All Weather. Relishes a sound surface and has claims.
Completed a hat-trick over this trip, all at Southwell, in midwinter but then well held from this mark when trying for the four-timer. Turf form not as good (1-34) and others make more appeal.
Won a Beverley handicap (7½f, good) in May and is 2lb higher today. Despite not winning since, he has put in a couple of good performances at Wolverhampton lately and there is every chance that he can get involved.
Landed back-to-back races at Ayr and then York on handicap debut in 2015 prior to being gelded, but has not been in the same form since. Handicapper is giving him a chance and positive market vibes would make him very interesting now tried over this longer trip.
6lb lower than his last success, which was over C&D in October 2015 (good). Ran well again in one of his two subsequent runs over C&D from a mark of 76 but well beaten all starts since. Yard searching for a winner and handicapper giving this one a chance so would be no surprise to see him pop up.
Was in good form in handicaps over similar trips last summer on fast ground. Not seen since September and record when fresh not one to write home about, so best watched for today from this stiff enough mark.
Unexposed at this trip, having been tried just the once previously. Won a couple of 7f handicaps in August and September and not disgraced from 1lb higher than today on only subsequent start. Comes here fresh and very interesting contender.
6lb higher than when recording his sole success, at Bath (1m2f, good) last May when with Mick Channon. Hurdles form for current yard has been moderate and others make more appeal on his return to this sphere.

House Of Commons (6/1), Sunnua (13/2), Stanley (13/2), All You (7/1), Muqarred (15/2), High Draw (8/1), Auspicion (10/1), Desert Ruler (12/1), Fine Example (12/1), Trinity Star (12/1), Shearian (16/1), Billy Roberts (25/1), Red Charmer (33/1), Rockliffe (66/1), Ellaal (66/1)
A big field to set the ball rolling at Pontefract for the season and there is perhaps more guesswork than normal involved, with plenty of these exposed and returning for seasonal reppearances. High Draw looks capable of going well under top weight, Sunnua has a squeak with her rider's claim, while Ellaal and All You have blown off the cobwebs lately and should be involved. Preference however is for AUSPICION, who goes well fresh and is on a handy mark.
